You shouldn't put a limit on the love and care your child receives (provided it is healthy and appropriate), just because it comes from multiple sources. As a parent, your means and time are limited, no matter how much you love your child, you need grandparents, extended family, God families, step-families etc. to love that child freely. Put the child first and your ego and pride last. The winner is the child. Just my thoughts.
