if you haven't watched Video #1 in these series, I suggest you do that first to learn how to access the Silhouette Studio library offline.
Then following along here because you should NOT be using the Silhouette library as your only or even your primary Silhouette Studio design file storage area. You don't want your designs trapped in there and you want them accessible even when working on Silhouette Studio offline.
Follow these steps to export your entire Silhouette Studio library and folder structure.

Sounds like they're starting to get like cricut. I just got the new cameo 5 as a birthday
gift and this does excite me at all. I'm a silhouette user, the very first version silhouette came out with many years ago . I have lots of files but haven't been playing with my machine for some time. I hope this will not be an issue for me. Thanks for sharing.

When you buy a design, there's always an option to download it "straight" instead of relying on it turning up in your library.
Hello, when I exported , and it looked just like your, I have the folders titles but they are empty when I click on them. I did click the finish button. However, nothing in the folders? I am on a Mac
Are the folders empty in the Silhouette Studio library as well?
So am I correct? I followed these steps. It exported my file folder tree, but the only folder that actually has any files in it, is the User Created file. IF I want the other 4, 000, I need to download them one at a time from the Design Store?
If they are Silhouette Design Store files, yes. Don't shoot the messenger...I have NO idea why they don't have a bulk download..
I’m not as much worried about getting my library but because it’s not synching, it’s saying I have too many devices and even though I have designer + or will only let me save as Sil files! I need to be able to save as svg 😠
Have you tried checking your devices on your account on silhouettedesignstore?
Help please. Who do i contact about syncing to my silhouette account? i uninstalled it from an old laptop and downloaded to my new laptop and it will not let me sync. Says i am logged in on another machine but i am not. Help?
As the video says it's not possible to sync right now due to the server issues. They are slowing turning on syncing for users in waves

I was able to go back to May 7th and recover my Library however I have gotten 62 designs through Silhouette Studio that is not syncing. I have downloaded them but I do want them in my Library because all my Designs are organized by folders. How do I get them from download file in the Library? I have to do one by one? Uggg
Let me add I have over 3,000 designs in my Library.

Definitely do not buy these devices. There is a library and synchronization problem. You will be disgraced with your money.
You don't need to use the library at all and you don't have to ever sync.THAT is the issue. The machine and the software - while used offline - are fine.

You can use Silhouette Studio without signing in and without accessing the library right now. To do so, close Silhouette Studio and disconnect your computer from the WIFI network. Then relaunch Studio.
