Nice job on the video. I was born in St. Therese Hospital in 1952 and lived in Waukegan until 1977 (except for the two years I was in the Army) when I moved to California. I lived there until 1998 when I moved to my present home in the Louisville, Ky area. Thanks again..................Dave Dietmeyer
Great video Pat. My home town, born and raised. 1956-1979. Graduated class of 74 East campus and scooped the loop when it was the real deal in the 70's. Great memories. Thanks.
Louie Ambrogio is long gone. I went through St. Anastasia with his son Steve in the class of '66. Steve weighed at least 250 pounds in grade school from eating lots of great Italian food. LOL...
Born in Libertyville 1951, came to Waukegan often, Captains Table, corner restaurant on 120 and glen rock I think.
What a great place to have grown up. I miss those days😌😌😌😌

Yeah ppl can't have fun cues it's either gang banging or getting shot at
Should have added Vincent Price’s house, and maybe Quonset Pizza if it’s still there.
The grand old lady was a great place to grow up in. I miss her very much 😔😔😔😔
Great review!
Great Vid!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Waukegan West class of 1978
Nice, Pat. Brought back memories.
Is Louie's still there!? I've not been home in forever. I miss Waukegan.
Louie's is still very popular and going strong.
Yes, very busy. The homemade bread sticks are still the same goodness that you remember if you had them from back when.
