Found your videos today and i confess that the idea of someone who has been playing this for around 7, 8 years changed in hours. Started to really understand what matters when building a tactic. Even though it was against AI, I made it a lot easier when I found a tactic that gave me victories, until I was eliminated from European competitions. By then i had my team against me because we failed an objective. Then i saw your first video and started implementing your ideas, after that i was able to analyze the opponent, look for weaknesses and try to place players according to the other team in order to gain superiority. Thanks for your help and I hope to see a lot more content
Thanks for reviewing these Semi Final games so interesting. So in FM I always start with my team Cardiff and this time won the ECL in five seasons, no matchups or change of shape intellect. So my intelligence should improve though your comments. Regarding matchups i want to see my DMs dominate the opposition DMs/AM. So far I see them too far apart to influence each other and the AI releases the ball before hand. Standard Defensive Line worse. I don't know if you have any footage demonstrating matchup domination, particularly in the same formations opposing each other. Glad ive found you and looking forward to more of your contributions. I am winning everything but want to improve in match adjustments and prematch opposition adjustments which you have already started. Sounds like the guys on here know the game and want next level understanding. Many thanks.
Really enjoyed that, very insightful. I've watched a lot of RDF's tactics videos. I've seen him say in one that he had suspicions that a by product of hit early cross could be that your attacking players get into the box quicker and more often so wonder if that could be the reason for that choice. Do get your point though on the attacking full back. Also when he makes variations of tactics to play the harder top teams of your league, counter press is sometimes turned off...apparently because the better teams can more easily counter your counter press and exploit the space behind with multiple players pressing out of position. Must admit this is something I've seen but as you say, you do then sacrifice your own threat if you do win the ball back. Maybe it's something that is less effective when the players are very fatigued?
@@paulwolf1403 one weakness of Indonesia you could say if they don't have the best ever pressing front 4. Could be fairly easy to play through and work out to the wings. If hakimi is in the front 4 of england it makes their press way better also. I wish I remembered to mention this. I don't feel like cross early is particularly effective, when applies to all wide players who have great general dribbling. Indonesia chose to play out of defense and try to retain more possession than is the general meta, hakimi would help counter this a lot also if playing on the attacking wing positions.
In the final match, I think Germany played with a very absurd formation. What kind of tactics and formation would you have played against them? I would love it if you could make a video about it. It would be a nice content. Thank you in advance.
Not against the AI. It is honestly just way too easy. I do a network save with 7 other streamers on a Thursday on Twitch. We gave the playoff finals where I am trying to win my 4th League and Playoff title in a row.
@@FletchTheSauce easy for you :p i m getting sacked, would be amazing to watch you play normal fm save, but understand if it is too boring for you, you are just too good, thanks for the videos

I'm learning a lot from your videos. Thank you. Could you make a video about how to read the game? this is about stats/maps... matter the most when I'm in a match. how to identify what I'm doing wrong or what are my oppoennts weaknesses from these stats/maps, and how do I tweak my tactic to act appropriately in each scenario. The videos I saw on youtube are not that helpful tbh.
Just wondering if you could possibly make a video of how you make a draft in draft mode and play it just a suggestion as I know I and other struggle with it
Player Height is irrelevant, is it not? Only thing that matters is jumping reach. I've seen so many tests over the years, and height does not matter. Same jumping reach means they reach the same ball.
When I say height a lot of time I am referring to Jumping Reach. Taller players are way more likely to have higher jumping reach in general. Tammy can out jump Kimpembe more so than he can Sule, also strength will play a factor in the duels I believe, and Sule is a industrial sized fridge.
You’ve changed my perspective on tactic creation. The videos are really helpful.
@@bazosprout3687 I'm glad! I'm assuming you mean changed for the better?! Enjoy your new tactic adventure.

@@FletchTheSauce that's true. He certainly has the pace but also decent enough aggression, stamina and work rate to work very well on the press.
