This is BY FAR the best beginner's tutorial I have come across! I am a total beginner, and the fact that you used just one size beads, white background, black thread against it, your work/hands in focus, showing clearly where to go with the needle - perfect! :-) Oh, and I have to add - thanks for the mellow, quiet music and not using pushy and irritating sound.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I think loud music has its place in some DIY videos, but not bead weaving :P I find bead weaving videos so relaxing, I sometimes put them on as background noise when I go to sleep! I'm so glad you found the video helpful and welcome to the beading world :)

I just love this tutorial. Thank you. I alternated with 8/0 and 11/0 and it came out so neat. I WISH I knew how to post stuff, but I don't or else I would send you a picture.. But trust me if you do the same pattern and just alternate with the 8/0 and the 11/0 to form the ring, and then when you do the next round with the 3 beads you start with one 11/0, then the 8/0 in the middle and end with an 11/0. For the 5 bead row do two 11/0, one 8/0 and then you two 11/0 and finish off the same way, making sure to have those points pop up. Oh it is so darling and I used two colors. Thanks again. I will be making earrings and pendants.

Super easy tutorial. Thank you! I did what Pacergirl said, alternating 8/0 gold with 11/0 green. I also added another round with 7 beads as I want to put it on a crocheted necklace I’m making. So pretty! I plan to make more with small beads, maybe 15/0 with 11/0 for earrings.
