This may seem like a stupid question....but I’m wondering why you couldn’t pressure wash a rug? I did it to my shoes and they were like brand new. I know it’s not the same but i was just wondering why it wouldn’t work!
OMG been installing over 25 years . The number one worse thing u could do to a carpet is wet it with water. Most backing on carpets is a mesh wich is held on by( latex ) . It's a form. of glue & water soluble.. It breaks away from fibers &destroys ure carpet. Plus not for nothing , that pice 10x12 is probably worth about 125-150 to replace. I'm sure this guy is charging at liest 100 bucks to clean it . & I really feel sorry for customer wen carpet falls apart within a month
@@unstitched818 use Chem dry. It's basically the same as having ure dress suits or jackets dry cleaned. There are smaller outfits that use much less water & the main thing is to extract 95% + outta carpet. Most of ure dirt sets in ure fibers of carpet not in the backing. Any liquid spills BLOT THEM OUT. DON'T RUB THEM IN. Hope this helps you kelly.
Lesley correct not cheap solution dyed nylon, BUT anyone who soaks a carpet, puts that much soap is definitely not a pro. Dirt sticks to soap even after cleaning &drying. Bottom line is he/she basically destroyed that carpet!
Lesley water will destroy anything , it's the wrong thing to use on any carpet. Look at the Grand Canyon. I agree area rugs can cleaned properly, vacuumed, submerged in cleaning solution, then dried. And yes u can use a agitation but a vct scrubber ,no. Do u personally know this company? How long are they in business? Do they have insurance? Or are they jst starting out & doing it wrong ,

Dying to see what this outdoor location looks like. Where does the water drain?? I still go back and watch their videos with the white tile floor haha
I wonder if there's a reason they don't use a wash pit?

Pressure washing is so powerful that it may ruin the carpet.
I live how non of thr after pictures had the full carpet on display.
FIRST SOAK THE CARPET IN WATER AND WAIT 5MINS THAT WAY THE CARPET LAST MORE YEARS.
Can you add calming music or something?

Jay Janesak what is your suggestion on cleaning rugs? Is it just a matter of using less water? Or is there another way, if you don’t mind me asking?
