Ronu Majumdar is a renowned Indian flautist known for his mastery of the bansuri, a bamboo flute. Jagjit Singh intelligently used Ronu Majumdar's flute to add a unique and poignant dimension to ghazals performances, for enhancing the emotional depth and richness of the music. This collaboration showcased the seamless fusion of classical and ghazal genres, captivating audiences with their collective musical prowess

Jagjit ji was so simple and down to earth that he had no hesitation in carrying Harish ji's dholak at the airport and other places. He always took very very good care of his fellow musicians both young and old.

One of the best analysis and interpretation and reverence to the Maestro Pundit Shri Jagjit Singh Ji. Pundit Ronu Majumdar Ji himself is an extremely revered exponent of flute and a very knowledgeable scholar of Indian classical music.
I feel extremely extremely vindicated , when I have repeatedly commented on my humble and totally uneducated take on Pundit Shri Jagjit Singh Ji, that he is deserving of a recognition way above Padma Bhushan . Are you kidding me that Jagjit Singh Ji and Udit Narayan are at the same level. If Mr . Bachchan is Padma Vibhushan for what he has achieved in his field , then Shri Jagjit Singh Ji is definitely worthy of a honour
similar if not higher than that .
And on umpteen occasions I have mentioned about Shri Jagjit Singh Ji that " Yeh shaksh unt mein ek sunt tha. He had achieved a certain divinity and a spirituality in his voice.

मेहदी हसन साहब ने जगजीत सिंह के सा लगाने पर प्रशंसा की इसका कोई लिंक नहीं मिलता। मैंने गूगल पर बहुत सर्च किया लेकिन दो तीन साल हो गए मिला कुछ नहीं।
कोई बात व्यक्तिगत रूप से कही होती है जिसका आम लोगों को पता नहि होता ना ही उसका कोई प्रमाण मिलता है. रोनू दा की बात पे संदेह नहीं किया जा सकता, उन्हें ग़लत प्रसंशा कर के कुछ हासिल नहीं है वो भी उस व्यक्ति की ग़ैरमोज़ुदगी में 🙏
