Been there. Done that. I'm grateful to have a tractor with 48" blower to move snow. Just enough weight on the ground for traction (about 1800 pounds) and small enough to maneuver in smaller areas to keep shoveling to a bare minimum. I feel their pain.
Dan you’re a good neighbor always helping those in need. Bri is doing great and it’s wonderful to see her feeling well enough to help clear the snow. Stay safe!
Hey Everyone. Thanks for watching! It continues to dump! I realized I broke a shear pin towards the end of blowing the 4 drives unfortunately. It is fixed now.
You both are tough Minnesotans. You can do it!! 💪 You’re a wonderful neighbor to have, bless you. I hope Bri doesn’t over do it. What a wonderful wife she is.💖 Hope your power stays strong. Only had rain and strong winds in Placerville. ElDorado . Very quiet all day so far. Dark clouds and sprinkles. More is coming. Stay safe. 🙏🙏🙏
You're a great neighbor! Snow blowing is a lot of work! Not for the weak! Funny how the dogs react to lots of snow. Thanks for sharing! Bri is amazing!
I have a battery powered blower. It works well without the struggle with tge weight of a gas blower. The difference is night & day. To each their own.⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋
God bless all the ones that are in this storm keep them safe and out of harms way you know mother nature has no remorse we do father keep them safe God bless them! Amen!
I have the Honda 928t and have found to just moderate my speed forward and not go to throttle all the time, letting the machine never bog down. I found I've broken many fewer shear pins also.
Even here in Wisconsin, (and almost 20 inches below normal for the year) my fear always is a snow blower that won't work. One broke on me a few years back, and thank God I had a friend that was more mechanically inclined than I was. Now I do pay for someone to do the big ones...especially since we are close to the lake and get some heavy wet stuff. But sheesh. I would not be able to keep up with what you are getting dumped with all at once. And those hard as concrete beams that my village dumps at the end of the driveway are what would give me the heart attack. You certainly are going to get your workouts this weekend. Stay safe.
Yo buddie , you've got a broken " Shear Pin " on right-hand side when looking at the Augers ! ! ! With the Tracked Honda Snowblower , you shouldn't be struggling as much as you are . ✌ out
honda snowblowers are expensive but they sure are engineered to blow good....ive always been impressed by how good they work....also ariens makes a few models that are superior throwers
@@nbco55 hahaha your right. I live in Minnesota a d my cousin bought that same machine. Good one I'm running 8 horse 2 stage toro. Good buddy crack me up.
I run the little brother to it, the Honda 928 tracked, my neighbor laughed at the price I paid, I literally shot the snow over the street onto his side just to shut him up, he was shocked it put out 40+- feet in a solid stream right onto his yard... Lol.... He stopped laughing.
"The Beast" is out there blowing snow 3 weeks after having her noggin opened and a chunk taken out. Seriously, who does that?! LOL Very cool of you to help the neighbors out, I'm surprised that anyone who lives there wouldn't have a blower. Theirs must be broken? I'm glad the wind is keeping the snow off of the roof so you don't have to climb up there.
This is just the beginning nationwide, you'll see, I'd bet my life on it. Nationwide the weather extremes that are coming will exceed every typical standard that the country was designed for. ....and I'm in a flood plain...so I'm screwed.
i loved our honda snowblower.. we had one that had the track.. it was best to use honda sheer pins.. they would fit better and last longer than the hardware store ones..
Do ya want me to tell you about the missing didly pin auger thingy? Whatever. It’s really nice of you to help your neighbor out when you have so much at your place. Be safe! Bri’s doing AMAZING!!
You’re a very nice guy, great neighbor for helping your neighbor. But where does your neighbor need to go? Everyone knew the storm was coming why didn’t you have your supplies out of time?
dan , you are blowing like an amateur. lower the auger to the ground , start forward speed one. if have to push on flat ground driveway street then you are doing something wrong. you are exercising to much. you are suppose to walk behind and relax. and one auger shear pin is sheared with makes one of two augers a brake. 8:367:48
Dear sir. I own the same Honda blower so i have some insights. When going forward, start with the hydro-stat in neutral and then set the forward speed for as much as the engine can manage. Hold only one hand at the hand grips, one locks in the other and use the free hand to move the chute or adjust the speed. To get more power out of the engine i adjusted the RPM up to about 4000-4100. Also move the chute crank up to the, this takes some mech work, ua-cam.com/video/voHjtC3zB_c/v-deo.html Use silicone spray under the controls and on chute rotation etc.
One thing I don’t understand is why you are surprised when you see the wrath and punishment of a liar in the last times for the filth of the world. Mother Nature feels the anger and is the first to warm up, and this is not even the middle. The deceitful governor, seduced by the HARLOTS, who sits on the deceitful Dragon (Anti Cross - Vatican) and deceives from these lands, from these. Then the Lawyer will come, who is so angry at the filth of the world. And he is from the house of the Elder, the same ancient Lady Two-Faced, who has had legal rights since last year. Which must change the last bottom line, or the lying world will die together. And what is happening now is not even a small thing. The truth always takes a long time to gather, but it punishes the unwise herd, which does not hear simple words, very strongly. This time will be called the HARVEST OF THE LIARS. So, good luck to all of us.
I can't get over all your snow. It looks like you have a broken sheer pin in the auger on the Honda blower
Noticed that too. Good to have spares they break frequently

We here in Indiana are watching this storm.
Please keep us updated as much as possible.
May God bless and keep you all safe....
In Indiana here too.

ElDorado .

You're a great neighbor! Snow blowing is a lot of work! Not for the weak! Funny how the dogs react to lots of snow. Thanks for sharing! Bri is amazing!
You need a plow, bro. I used to live in Tahoe City. Moved to the Cascades 10 years ago. Snow here is too wet to blow.
Thanks for sharing your snow with us!!!!
Very nice of you to help out the neighbors. Enjoy the storm and the skiing that will follow 👍
Bri and Dan, I admire your youth and strength !
You need a new pin or bolt . One side not spinning.
Love seeing the snow ad the snow clearing process. Thanks again for posting.
You need the drift breaker bar on that Honda
Thanks for documenting this. It’s hard work moving all that snow around.
I can't help thinking that it's a bad sign, when your car roof starts growing trees.😃
Good to see Bri getting back to functional... Watching y'all from Reno... God bless
California wants that machine to be battery powered.lol
Fat chance of that happening.
I have a battery powered blower. It works well without the struggle with tge weight of a gas blower. The difference is night & day. To each their own.⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋🔌⛽🔋
WA State is trying to get rid of small engines too. 🙄 I can't wait to get rid of our governor.
The shear pins won't break if you always keep the auger running. Never start the auger full of snow.
God bless all the ones that are in this storm keep them safe and out of harms way you know mother nature has no remorse we do father keep them safe God bless them! Amen!
You guys really got dumped on, i lived in Tahoe. Very beautiful thought💙🩵💙
watching the snow blower is super satisfying
I have the Honda 928t and have found to just moderate my speed forward and not go to throttle all the time, letting the machine never bog down. I found I've broken many fewer shear pins also.
Love the music you have on here. You are such a good neighbor..
My dog, Penny, was a springer spaniel mix. She loved the snow!

Your a great neighbor i WOULD BUY A TRACTOR with a cab way better than that walk behind blower no way I would freeze like that BLESS YOU
That is some serious snow! At least it's not the typical March Sierra cement, or so it appears.
You can leave your hand on the left grip, while you let go of the right grip to change directions with the hydro lever. It keeps everything engaged.

Wow, that is a lot of snow!!
Ah yes, broken shear pins. I remember that well.
That's one heck of a snowblower.
Honey I think we are going to need a bigger snowblower.
If ur looking at ur snow blower on the right side u broke a sher-pin on the auger part and its not spinning!!!!!
i was looking to see if anyone else notice that before i made the same comment
@@BIGDUG666887 I did the same hahaha
I hope you get more followers. You're great through the year. Stay safe.
I just became one 😊
Amazing. Be safe you guys
Hard work , but it's so beautiful. We lived at south lake for 18 yrs.
I usually snow blow my neighbors sidewalks too. It’s for selfish reasons because the mailbox is several houses up the hill.
I feel sorry for the snow blower
My wife grew up in meyers, south shore, it was like this every winter back in the 60s and 70s.😊
last year there was over 50 feet of snow...
@@VenturaIT yup a good winter
I know someone else already mentioned it,
But the snowblower has a busted shear pin on the one side.
It’s an easy fix.
That snow blower is too small😂😂
How many feet do you think you’ve gotten in the last 24 hours? You are very nice to help your neighbors out.
Really impressive snowblower
honda snowblowers are expensive but they sure are engineered to blow good....ive always been impressed by how good they work....also ariens makes a few models that are superior throwers
Your blower isn't blowing because you broke a shear pin on one of the augers. Left one isn't spinning, and just pushing snow.....
The snow must not be very heavy but that’s still a lot.
The pin broke on your snow machine
Big honda snow blower. Can really throw some snow. This should be a commercial for Honda.
Except it's a Honda...

shear pin is broken on one side of the snow cutter blade!!! You are only moving half the amount you could
good job well done!

busted shear pin on right side of auger
Way way way to much SNOW for me. When younger, I loved it. Not anymore.
one auger right side was turning .. check the pin
i loved our honda snowblower.. we had one that had the track.. it was best to use honda sheer pins.. they would fit better and last longer than the hardware store ones..
Do you do the whole neighborhood with the snow blower?
Love a full chute. Sheer pin is broken.
sheared a auger pin
I have skiied in New Zealand 3 times in August. Lake Wakitipu reminds me of Lake Tahoe 🎿 ⛷
In another video you mentioned your Prius. Just wondering how it handles the snow with chains? Thanks
I would love to be out there with my John Deere tractor and snowblower!
Hi...is it still snowing on your location ?
Dan--------won't you be my neighbor? 🥶👍
lol! Hope you got lots of spare shear pins!
Do ya want me to tell you about the missing didly pin auger thingy? Whatever. It’s really nice of you to help your neighbor out when you have so much at your place. Be safe! Bri’s doing AMAZING!!
Bri is woman! Here her roar! You go, sis!
I wonder if people are staying at the casinos in Tahoe during the storm seen no video or news on that area just the Sierra parts
Dang! That little snow blower deserves a sack of Omoline! Double duty! Tell Brie not to get too rambunctious. Glad you both are ok.
7:55 Looks like your shear pin is broken, only half of the blower is working
Fix your sheer pin on the left auger of your snow blower.. it'll work better ;)
Been there done that 😊
A real mountain man uses a shovel ...
The left side of your auger is not spinning, check your sheer pin.
too bad you got a busted sheer pin on the left side cuter auger. my guess you hit something or caught something under the snow like a good size stick.
Fix your Sherwin and start in the middle of drive at low speeds
the lower auger is only half turning
You waited to long bro! Well, with the Cat 20 winds, I can see you waiting. lol
did you guys have any snow before this storm already on the ground?
maybe an inch or two
it cant be worse than last year
How does the melt affect those downhill?
Usually not too bad but depends on how quickly it warms up.
Your in California. That blower should be battery powered.
You’re a very nice guy, great neighbor for helping your neighbor. But where does your neighbor need to go? Everyone knew the storm was coming why didn’t you have your supplies out of time?

I hope your neighbors at least bring you some hot coffee for your effort.
Why don’t you folks have vehicles that you can attach a plow too?
I like snow, within reason. That's not reasonable.🤨
U shouldn’t run that Honda with a broken shear pin. Take the time to fix it. Just saying
Enjoy !!
Would it be possible to grab some migrants to help with the shoveling??
This is worse than Jersey City ! Stay safe
You have a shear pin broke on your auger one side isn`t turning
Does anyone put their cars in their garages?
