Maybe they should worry about how the VA sets outside appointments then lets outside hospitals set outside appointments that are appointments for appointments then you go to that appointment to set appointments and all the appointments for appointments that are meant to set appointments that end in more appointments all cost $200+ and then finally you are told to take aspirin once a month….? Maybe that will fix the budgeting issues?? Maybe? (Speaking from experience)
My first visit to a VA hospital in many years as compared to other hospitals it was scary. CRT operator taking care of personal matters and not paying attention to the procedure. Attempting to install a catheter when it was not required and had to get the Doctor involved. Comment from one doctor that these Veterans didn’t deserve all this free medical care. You don’t have to look stuff just jumps out at you. My Primary Physician was the best in my life time.
Sounds like to me they have gotten away with this for so many years they didn't expect to be held to this level of accountability. These people have been getting paid a comfortable salary to do a way under acceptable job. But im betting that if someone looked into their way of life,their living large like modern day gangsters. When will the focus really return to taking proper care of our veterans and not management? Stop talking and telling people what they want to hear and do something positive for veterans.
VA will just kill you. There are too many conflicts. Dr's who hate that we get free care, so they do a crappy job, government unions interfering, research being placed over care, and so forth. It is a self-licking ice-cream cone. Doing a bad job on purpose gets VA more money to steal, in the end the veterans always pay. What a joke our country has become. Incentivizing people to fail at their jobs! I don't think God is blessing America much anymore...........so stop saying it.

Talk to them about the bad psychology they are using to walk Veterans to their ends.
