Why? Do not buy Halaand. Joan Laporta always does this. He buys players that don’t necessarily fit the club’s need. It always for publicity only. While we do need a natural ST, you have to remember that most managers only tend to last 3-4 years at most. So until Flick stays for more than 4 years, he is no exception to that rule. Why do I bring this up? Because the club’s philosophy is to have a False 9, a ST who will track back and create space for the wingers. Haaland cannot do that. Why? Do not buy Halaand. Joan Laporta always does this. He buys players that don’t necessarily fit the club’s need. It always for publicity only. While we do need a natural ST, you have to remember that most managers only tend to last 3-4 years at most. So until Flick stays for more than 4 years, he is no exception to that rule. Why do I bring this up? Because the club’s philosophy is to have a False 9, a ST who will track back and create space for the wingers. Haaland cannot do that. So unless we contract a manager like Nigelesmann or Klopp, after Flick’s departure, signing Haaland would be a mistake. Plus we already have a ST similar to his profile. His name is Vitor Roque. Experiment with him and then sell him if we decide not to get Nagelsmann or Klopp. He would be worth the investment Barca made.
