Thanks to "WDR Klassik", many congratulations to the orchestra and the individual soloists, also congratulations to the conductor present at every moment, but also to the sound engineers and cameramen who do not let a single moment slip away... Well done ..!! ...It was like being inside the concert hall.

Excelente batuta, el director se esfuerza demasiado para marcar toda la música posible (sin sentir pesada su dirección). Sin divagar, esta es de las mejores versiones disponibles en youtube. Gracias!!!

Alto flute, letter 130, second bar, one beat too early ;-)

Peter Breiner It isn't difficult to hear: Ritual Action of the Ancestors, Fl alto solo.... But: letter 57, bar 5, the 2nd Cl. picc.: the 7th sixteenth note is al little bit too deep. A little bit. Do you hear that? 🤣🤣

Great performance, but the recording.... these timpani sound like kitchen pots...

A week later - yes, this is one conductor that understands Stravinsky. Never heard of him, but this video puts him above all American, UK and Russian conductors popular in the 21st century. I would like to listien to more Stravinsky from him and, hopefully, without the dynamic compression...

@@jassenjj haha, funny how you changed your mind. Bychkov is actually top class, I found him because of his Eine Alpensymphonie. So underrated

They only sound like kitchen pots because the timpanists are using ultra staccato sticks, and probably wooden sticks

@@ciupenhauer No, I didn't change my mind - the timpani still sound like kitchen pots :)
