ये गाना फ़िल्म -आप की परछाईयाँ से था, रजा मेहंदी अली खान साहब ने इसे लिखा था, मदन मोहन साहब ने संगीत से सवारा था बहुत बेमिसाल गज़ल है, लता जी ने अपनी मधुर आवाज़ से इसमे रंग भर दिया, धर्मेंद्र जी उस ज़माने के कलाकार है, बहुत गर्व महसूस महसूस होता है, दुःख इस बात का है अब ऐसे गाने नही बनते, अभी भी अच्छे शायर और कवि है अफसोस उनको सुनना कोई पसन्द नहीं करता फ़िल्म संगीत एक युग खतम हो चुका, अब लता जी भी हमारे बीच नही रही! आज के गाने बस ऐसे है!
