- The Duchess of Cambridge's pool partner dismisses her as "dreadful" on a visit to the MIST mental health project in South Wales but two little girls think she's great for hugs.
This woman is pure class. Totally gracious and not in the least bit snobby. She doesn't have to be another "Diana". She is her own person. If people dislike her it's out of pure jealousy and unhappiness with their own lot in life. I have absolutely no time for any of them except for the Queen, William and Kate, Edward and Sophie.
You would like to think people don't like her due to jealously of some other ridiculous notion but the truth is there is a lot to dislike, you just refuse to see it. Maybe you have low standards🤷♀️

Theres the tell right there, she 'kneels' a bit to talk to the girls at their level and holds a conversation with them, that's her style-she's a mum too and understands. People need to stop comparing her to Diana, this is Kate; and this is what she does, she's a decent person to begin with so it's natural that she would be sincere in her approach to people. One can argue she is far more natural in front of the camera and speaking publicly than her late Mother-in-law who spoke in stilted sentences when giving a speech -and there was nothing wrong with that, it's simply Kate's style to be more at ease. William showed her the ropes very well.
I wish people would stop comparing her to princess Diana . They are both 2 different people. I think she was very good with the children and I think its unfair to judge her from one second of her expression.

That smile, eyes, the way she treated people just she like a normal person. She had something what other Royals don't have. Sorry she never behave like Royal just a little smile to people they where happy but she always had a smile for People even when she was in "cave" and just Child from a God🙏gone so early🥺Diana was People's Quen like when she said in interview I don't see myself as Queen because they don't like that when I say they I mean on Royals I wanna be People's Queen and I know they love me and they don't like that(Family) few months later "car crash". Diana was from the aristocracy. Katherine went to University, was well educated. Very different upbringing. Diana's parents separated and divorced and both remarried. Katherine's parents still together, she had a stable family life, which William fell in love with. When you are brought up with stable parents and stable family life, it makes for for stability and trust for the future, which makes for a a happy family life.
When Kate would walk in she would shine but it was different Diana would dazzle

Interesting how the same event can provoke totally different views: I think the Duchess is very warm and natural with children; it's something that has always struck me about her. She always gets down to their eye level and chats with them, there's no sense of rushing off just because they're kids and 'not important'.
I think she does well meeting so many people, it must be difficult when you're just not in the mood for another handshake, another conversation, but people have high expectations of her.
A hug from children doesn't deserve the expression that she made. Only a sociopath would do that.
