The reason why most junglers like dantes or tarzand are ripped is because they realize sometimes teammates and their plays are out of their control so to be involved in the game is to do something in your control, improving yourself your mind and your body.
Same as Agurin. Even though he plays picks like Jarvan/Elise which are often played selflessly and in a gank-spamming-no-farm style, he usually clears his jungle on repeat and just waits for good opportunities.
@@blizzy8382 Or just cause they wanna be healthy/look good? It also helps with anxiety and depression lol now everything about league players is related to being mentaly ill lmao
The champ he plays also helps a lot. In solo queue good mobility champs can carry a lot better since you can get fed on the players who give up 2 min into the game. It's solo queue both teams gonna have the classic "ff 15" for no fucin reason other than them being mentally ill
I never realized how much faster you improve as a solo player until I started queueing solo... I was hardstuck silver for 4 seasons back when I only played with friends, but when I started playing solo q on my own I went from silver to plat in one season. Also yeah I play Clash, I wish they held the tournaments more often because it's (in my opinion) the most fun game mode in league
I think league using solo queue as the only benchmark for success causes more erosion than one might think. From the solo q/pro balancing nightmare to champ design being limited by and made for solo queue to a flipped mentality where the true enemy is your teammates, not the enemies. The change of removing duo q for improving flex pool is a solid suggestion, but I do think flex queue needs more changes than that. First and foremost the flex rank boosting removes all prestige from flex queue, so that's an obvious change. Perhaps if players weren't ranked individually in flex, but as a team, it would match reality better. And if riot TRULY wanted to give players an incentive to play flex, they could add cash prizes for flex TEAM rank similarly to champions queue, although it runs the risk of soloqueue player outrage over priority of what they perceive as an inferior gamemode. Alternatively they could merge flex and clash make it a single team oriented game mode. Some ranked players also use flex queue as a lower pressure relaxing ranked experience, which is a plus shortterm, but it adds to the perceived inferiority of flex queue. Solo queue players shouldn't need to have 2 RANKED (3 with draft) to queue solo on 5v5 SR. So solo queueing flex should be disabled, in addition to duoq being moved from soloq to fle.
clash is definity one of the best things league has to offer. Right now its even the best. But since the dark star thresh gamemode existed nothing can beat the funn I had in this gamemode
I agree with basically all of the above. I also very, very much miss team queue from yester-year. I realize the queue population was low and that's why they removed it, but not having any sense of a consistent team across Clash tournaments (and how infrequent they are) makes it feel like a rotating game mode more than an actual tournament mode. The least Clash could do is allow us to create persistent teams and rosters to track progress through multiple tournaments, and attempt to match those with consistent teams against others with consistent teams.
Also, much like being a solo queue mid or top vs a duo mid/jg or top/jg, being a solo queue bot or support player sucks in the middle ratings (gold-emerald) due to the sheer number of duo queue bot laners that exist.
Since I got a day job I haven't really had the time or energy to stream, I want to put more of a focus on UA-cam for now, maybe will go back to streaming in the near future
If flex had a MMR restriction, then I wouldn't be able to play with my friends who are like 3 ranks above me (I am iron but I've played this for like 6 years... :( )
Basically competitive video games when you tryhard you don't like having friends when you are casual you like to have a friend or two. That's why the state of the game most people grind solo queue that's probably not the right mentality the game was intended for and make people toxic because you dont socialize with people for a long time (only tryhards) so a lot of people don't know how to treat people with respect. hope that made sense. I would love if the queue dynamic changed to make the game diferent but they should focus on game health first because I've heard players are cheating and scripting blatanly and Riot needs to make something to fix that before it becomes unplayable for everyone.
Can't play with friends cuz I would hate at their poor gameplay... I can't simply enjoy playing lol while losing, is not fun for much as they joke and play. I can't not play it serious
I can relate to that somewhat, if I don't get in the game with the mentality to just mess around, I'll want to try hard and win, so I usually just play ranked for that
I play mostly Solo queue as a solo player because duo should not even be a thing... and I play flex solo or with friends... why I play flex solo also? because I'm most likely thrown into a game that at least have enemy promenades of 3 players and can go up to 5... that really makes me have to play with more map awareness than in a solo queue game...
I would love a serius mode for premade groups and i think making solo duo q only solo would be more fair for Who likes to grind it alone. I personally dont enjoy the game alone so i play with friends but i like improving at it and while i dont really feel that flex has any problems they should fix it so that having a good rank in it matters some thing. If i say to anybody that i have a good rank in flex but a mediocre one i solo q they just laugh lol.
in the most part it's not a team game one of the reason is the lack of communication means into the game, second the ranking system it's overall a solo ranking if u can carry or win by your own strategy or effort just do it and fuck the team, it doesn't need five players to get to nexus and finish , one is enough ,
No it’s 1v18 at best because it’s riot forcing you to play with the worst players possible so you don’t climb so you keep playing, the amount of bots I get in my games and the amount of bans I myself have reported on is insane
A lot of the time, these "smurfs" aren't even smurfs, they're just regular players having a really good game. If you're consistently good, it's enough to win more often than you lose anyway
DuoQ actually makes it harder to rank up, not easier, because when you duo it treats both players as though they are a higher rank than they actually are for matchmaking purposes, leading to tougher opponents to offset the coordination bonus
In terms of MMR gains it does make the climb slower, but I don't think getting slightly better opponents can offset the advantage of having a duo bot lane, or mid + jg duo coordinating plays. The solo randoms on the enemy team could be better players, but they won't necessarily be on the same page as their teammates, so it's not really fair for them to face duos
Solo Q is fine the way it is. This is such a cope of a take. The impact that a duo has on a game is pretty minimal when compared to a single person. Then it's just two people making a bad call instead of only one. It will always be on the skill of all 5 players to be able to work together. This is such a night and day difference you can literally observe when you watch challenger games and compare them to plat and below. Challenger players will group on objectives, make pressure, etc. and half the time nobody even has to ping for it.
There's a reason why high elo players are mostly in favour of solo only queue. Duos do offer a serious advantage if both players are actually competent. An ADC + Supp duo in a discord call will be better than two solos in bot lane more often than not, same with mid + jungle duo And if you watch Master/GM players consistently, you'll notice how their teams can be incredibly uncoordinated or oblivious, and they often lose games because of it
@@somo4227 Because it is. Do you genuinely believe that people who make it to the top 200 (challenger) every year, are just people who get lucky every year? No, it's because they rely on their own skill to make enough of an impact on the majority of their games to win. This is extremely straightforward and true logic.
If you need one or more people in a premade to stay sane you could just go for Flex queue. If it had actual rank restrictions it'd be like moving duo queue there
The reason why most junglers like dantes or tarzand are ripped is because they realize sometimes teammates and their plays are out of their control so to be involved in the game is to do something in your control, improving yourself your mind and your body.
