Dragon Fruit Trellis Setup (2023)

Here’s a video of my dragon fruit trellis set up during Spring 2023 in Central Texas Zone 8b. During that spring, I made new dragon fruit trellises and transplanted my larger plants into larger containers.
Ideally, dragon fruits must be grown vertically up a trellis with branches hanging down the top. Once the plants reach a certain size and age and are fertilized with phosphorus, they may produce flowers on the gravity-pulled branches.
I made this video as a promo for live cactus sales and markets in the Central Texas area. (My online store is still in the works for Spring 2024. I plan to do shipping within the continental United States (no international shipping)).
I hope to make a longer and more detailed video in the future!

Hey what do you fertilizer with to flower liquid or dry ?? Or both I have a dragon orchard literally big and similar to yours I live in zone 8a 9b Southern California we get frozen winters and blistering summers I’m trying so hard it’s been 3 years if I don’t get it this year I will be struggling to be trying to get dragon fruit on year 4 next season I’ve had about 4 flowers in my whole time all yellowing and falling off I have good soil medium there’s so much green growth too but just no flower buds yet and the weather is poppin I really think ima cut everything back super bad I tipped them yesterday so we should see in a couple weeks but everyone I’m watching all over the world has buds and I’m still here with branches :(
