The authentic character, power and beauty of Paso doble comes from an internal energy and I think the intensity, drama and character is lost in this performance due to the fast speed of the music. At 1;23 Riccardo does a kind of shuffle walk toward Yulia which I think is hysterical because If a real Matador was to move like this toward the bull, the bull would be a little offended I think..
Joe Testa you clearly have NO clue what you’re talking about as Riccardo & Yulia are masters of the Paso doble, this performance is just ‘one’ of many brilliant interpretations they’ve done of the dance over the years. There’s a reason why Riccardo & Yulia are the current 8 time Professional Latin World Champions!!!
