Steve wow this is a very very special piece, oh wow Olive wood is so stunningly beautiful and spectacular. You took the Lord's creation and shown us the inside of it. Thank you for showing us the awesome pieces you create with the wood.
Beautiful composition Steve, great use of the slabs to make that piece. Thank you for enlightening us with your creations. Keep on turning. Cheers, Bluey 👍
Hi Steve....it seems the fruit woods always manage to possess a lot of character in their grains and occlusions. This bowl is a striking example of that and the classic style of the Mediterranean artistic culture. Fine work....best to you and be well my friend.
Nice job! Turned out better than I expected. The new speed control - I bought mine 5 years ago - expensive, but even so, it remains a bargain. It puts a new dimension to your turning. Kind regards.
Hi A beautiful creation out of offcuts of wood, did you make The boring tool yourself or did you buy it. ??? . Lovely looking job , keep up the good work BSafe wear a face mask and head shield. Phil from the Moulin in France
...wow...that piece is beautiful!...very impressive... I'm new to wood turning and am wondering...why did you decide to hollow after gluing it all together rather than hollowing before gluing on the top piece?...just trying to learn as much as possible here... Thanks...Matt

Wow. That is a beautiful creation. The Lord creates wood and then we get the opportunity to shape it. A very attractive turning. Thank you for sharing Steve.

Very beautiful Steve!!! A great job making and turning it as well So how many times did you change the design as you were turning it?? lol Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Hello from saskatchewan, what was your finish ? I envy your wood , most of our native trees are poplar , some box elder and a bit of birch . I see some blanks in the background, how long do you season them ? My apologies if you already answered these questions in other videos, I am going to watch them tonight , have a good day
Stunning piece Steve..laminating thinner pices of wood species gives a beautiful result and it's a great why to use up wood scraps. I'm also fascinated by all the tools that you make as well. I noticed you added a variable speed to the Boston lathe?. Clever👍
Superbe vase. Your custom made turning tools are interesting. Looking forward how to make them. More information about your finishing products would be interesting.
Great work on the bowl Steve, but I'm fascinated with your inverter and 3phase motor setup. What is the input voltage to the inverter? What is the out put voltage to the motor?
Oh my, that’s gorgeous and I love that hollowing stabilizer, did you buy it or did you make it and if so I want to build one like it. Thanks in advance love your videos .

Walnut.

Looks very nice Steve. That wood has some great figure.
Your lathe looks uncommon, but stout. I have a ~2,000 hours on my 3520a Powermatic.
Thank you Jeff. my lathe is a Chinese 550 watt and I modified it to a three phase 3hp motor with inverter
@@stevekalogerakis Nice mod. And the inverter will smooth it out with that 3 phase - similar to the Powermatic.
