Hi, thanks for the video. I agree with your definitions of the styles. I used to be Ralph Lauren/preppy when young but when I saw somethings gotta give and other nancy Meyers movies, I morphed into the nancy meyer chic as I live on coast of California. I an now moving more to coastal granddaughter as I have retired and can now go more casual. I am old enough to be a grandmother, but not my style ... still young at heart.
I also love how coastal grandmothers are in shape and have a slim toned body because of the activities they do on a regular basis to stay in shape like swimming, tennis, horseback riding, walking along the beach, gardening which really is a form of exercise I didn’t know, they may have done ballet when they were younger and still go to the studio and do bars and still dance with their leotard, sailing, etc etc etc. and her skincare is wearing straw hats to protect her face, constantly wear sun block she has them in her bag just in case, she is tainted lip balm with SPF but I’d like to think she is wearing something like Olay, Dove, some French pharmacies beauty products Nuxe oil, Caudalie etc and neutral nail polish color or just her own nails that are neat and clean and that have been buffed to a shine. And her diet is on the Mediterranean side.
I'm from Georgia, the state not the country, and live in the country not near the coast (about 50-75 miles away), so I've been trying to upgrade my style. I normally just wear a t shirt with jeans and shorts. I love these outfits but I definitely have to lean more towards the shorts and dresses side of the aesthetic rather than trousers and button-ups due to the weather. It can get up to 115 here on the hot days, especially where I work, but luckily it hasn't gone past the 90s yet
Omg I just found your channel! I love you and these outfits. I think it would be fun to do a video on staple pieces for a coastal granddaughter, wardrobe and maybe staple accessories!
Omggg I’ve been loving the coastal granddaughter look but there’s not many videos and inspo I could find but that’s changed thanks to you❤️
I'm so glad! youre so welcome❤

Where is the floral skirt from?
Wow. Slow down the images. Don't even have time to focus on one image. They become just a blur.
Hey love, maybe just pause the video next time if you want to see the photos clearly! Just a little hack x
