Question. If you put the tanpura to D# you can make Bhairavi on E bass flute starting on Ni, right?
No set it to G# and play from Ga on E bansuri. All notes shuddha (natural) will give you Bhairavi.
Yes, simetime I play like this
You can use a F bass instead. Starting in Ni you can have this raga with no half hole
