You know Kanao and Inosuke may seem closer than you think.
In the light novel:
Kanao lost her butterfly hairpin and tried to search for it in the mountain. With some encouragement from someone, Inosuke decided to help her. The scene there was really lovely. Anyway, to thank Inosuke- Kanao decided to reward him with food, she was the one who cooked it with Aoi's help. It was Kanao's first time in cooking so the food came out a little burnt but Inosuke eat it regardless and said to her that it was delicious. Ah! That chapter of that light novel was so wholesome! Wish that some scenes in the kny light novel were added, I don't care if there filler episode but they are wholesome and sweet! Exploring the relationship and stories of some of the characters!
