Wow, Adam's story is horrific at best! Glad he survived. PTSD is VERY real; it can be caused by any traumatic event. I experienced a devastating injury years ago. After 4 life saving surgeries, suffering from unimaginable pain & 8 years of rehab, I'm alive and walking. I also developed PTSD - it's a devastating side effect caused by severe trauma. I went thru 2 years of therapy for that; I wouldn't wish that on anyone! I still have triggers that can cause panic attacks, etc. But, I am much better due to a lot of dedicated caring people - God Bless them! Adam, be tough and don't give up; you're a survivor!

Cam my brother and a friend was camping in the mountains in ark. He woke up in the middle of the night and it was cold and something was setting on his foot. He woke because his foot was hurting. He had his shotgun by his side He woke his friend up he peeped out and a black bear ran off.

You can tell when it's a Bigfoot making animals sounds. The sound would be way too loud and deep for that animal to make. It's like when you hear a dog bark and you can tell if it's a little tiny dog or a big dog. You can do the same with Bigfoot when they mimic animals. It's way too loud for that animal to make. I heard one making bird and horse sounds. There's no bird on this planet capable of making that sound. It would have to be Big Bird to make a sound that loud. The horse would also have to be 2 or 3 times larger to make that sound. That's how you can tell it's not real. The sound is too loud.

Crystal and Randy, I totally agree concerning these uncertain times we find ourselves in. Here in N California is the McKinney Fire, already 55,000 acres burned with towns being evacuated. This has been the new normal for the last 5 years. What once were beautiful lakes are just about bone dry. Cam's stories are definitely a respite of the times. Put those ear buds in and enjoy !

Glad you lived to tell your story Adam. Yes I think PTSDs are different, every event is different & so are ppl. My PTSD isn't as traumatic. Mine was jus being hit from behind by a semi, jus a bump. My therapist said to me chances of that happening again in life was slim to none & I should still get out there & drive. True some events change you forever. I have thought about what would happen camping in my tent in Oregon if a sassy were to grab me. It was in a forest by a river outside of Klamath Falls. I forget if I left the top off cause I do like looking at the stars, but I remember thinking a sassy could watch me sleep. I think I jus said a prayer knowing if 1 wanted to scoop me up they could. That forest did have a creepy vibe up the hill, there was an abandoned car(not a place you'd expect ). Dayz before there were 20-30 of us there. Me,my friend & another Oregonian stayed another night after everyone left. We had another wk of vaca in Oregon. I remember when me & my road dog rolled in the 1st night goin by word of mouth directions turning down a loggers type road. We couldn't find our friend in the dark & this road kept goin. My friend said "I hope we don't run out of gas",so I said "you better turn around cause you don't know how far this road goes". I also said "jokingly this looks like a place you'd see a sassy run across the road".

It was two separate incidents but we both thought the same thing. I had just walked down the road a way and I came back. And this call came from right by the road. I literally said, "Hey , how's it going" and I kept walking.
i read where a bigfoot said, "What the fuck?" to a guy. I hear they are splendid mimics.

Cam, about the owl sounds and if people can mimic them perfectly I would say yes. When I was in boot camp 1978 we had 80 men in our company. Right from week one of ten weeks of boot camp we kept hearing a cricket in the barracks and sometimes in other places. No one could find it when we looked. it was driving people and the company commander crazy. Yet every so often it would start and we would look but no cricket. It was not until the last week of boot camp the day before graduation while standing in line we heard that cricket again, but this time the sound kept getting louder and louder until we realized it was one of the guys in our company that was making the sound. He said it was him all the time and no one knew. It was like he could throw his voice like a ventriloquist but sound just like a cricket. We all could not believe it until he showed us by doing it again and then making it sound far away then right from him. Amazing, So if he could sound just like a cricket then why not others like an owl. I know how to sound like a Dove. Taught to me by some Native Americans where I live.

you were almost right about the spelling of the french word for wardrobe. It is spelled armoire. They do pronounce the last R slightly as there is an E behind it. I must say your french isn't bad :) Greeting from France Cam and thanks for the stories.

There was a holiday we went on and my mother went one way along the river bank and my cousin went in the opposite direction. When they came back later on, they both said, " Did you hear the blackbirds?" My brother and i replied "No", "We only heard you two whistling at each other, pretending to be blackbirds"!! We did laugh, this was in the early 1970s. Mother is long gone since.

Great stories. That bear was probably more familiar with downtown Gatlinburg than most people. I didn’t expect it to be such a vacation destination and tourist town. It even has something for wildlife!

Well some of those so-called Owl calls sounds like they've got great big lungs with a deep vocal sounds, huge vocal cords, whatever, know what I mean Cam? Well you may not but imagine those owl calls you hear around your place, and then imagine if that Owl or Owl's we're 6 feet tall and 3, 400 lbs or something like that. We had a couple ( I say had because I ain't heard or seen nothing of them in a while) , of what I call juveniles boogers, cause last time I saw what I thought were them, one was about 5 Ft tall and the other close to 6 Ft maybe a hair taller, anyways they used to do all kinds of stuff around here, nothing bad just irritating sometimes, but they would get down in these woods back here and try to sound like a owl, sometimes, but I could tell it had to be a big Owl by the sound of it. Anyhow, yeah I ain't heard nothing out of these rascals in a while, I don't know if they moved on or what, I know there's caves all around Lexington here, I believe, at least that's what I think, just my opinion, but that's where they go or went in the Winters here. Anywho, I'm rambling, later bud!

    Those are Barred Owls.
    They don't hoot.
    They talk to each other.
I've heard Bigfoot mimics the Barred Owls.
    They maybe even "become" owls.

Hi Cam ! I had bought some property in Missouri not to far from willow Springs and Mark Twain National Forrest Ozarks not too far from Arkansas and Bull shoals lake south of Willow Springs...I had hired someone to put a storage container and his backhoe got a flat and it took over a week to get a new tire so I ended up camping on the back of my property in a clearing I had camping bucket toilet and put it about 30 feet from the tent...in the the evening I'd here a owl hooting...and like clock work before night at 4:30 in the same spot so I tried to see what kind of owl it was oddly enough the sound was close to my toilet area and I should of been able to see it looking each evening but never seeing it and I noticed the owl had become sort of a angry tone of hooting almost a slight low toned growl at the ends of the hoot..and seem each night to get more angry and finally I'm suspicious of this owl thinking it might be a person messing with me but I had my 12 gage loaded for protection but I thought from bears or coyotes coming in camp might be looking for food so I kept everything picked up..well this angry owl in the came hooting after dark and started bipedal approach closer and closer and even using a flood light didn't see anything had my campfire going each night to also deter any creatures from coming too close to camp..think at first that this was a person as it still hasn't stopped approaching the camp I was thinking of shooting a warning shot but the thought just crossed my mind if this is not a person but a bigfoot shooting a gun would probably piss it off more but since it now was with in 20 to 25 feet from the camp fire and I'm thinking what ever this is it can see me perfectly clear by the fire light but I couldn't see them at all but the approaching angry owl on two feet and about 8" up ....so a thought came in my mind to sing...and if that didn't work I'd have no choice but to shoot...but as soon as I started sing it stopped and was listening!!? lol so I sang three songs...after the songs I talked to the woods or whatever it was that I meant it no harm and I know it could snap me like a twig but I would defend myself and know I Will try my best to make them bleed too to protect myself... I'm going to be living here and will plant trees and plants for food and I'll share some with them the day I was leaving one louder than a human being could do tree knock at 4:30 AM woke me ....I live on the property and still hear that owl hooting back there from time to time and rock throwing but I stay mostly now towards the front of the property with my dog ... Butterscotch! She would stop and sit and look and stare n the direction of old camp area knowing something was there whatever it was when I kept looking with my floodlight it was so close I should of seen something but still I've never seen them here just the feeling of their presence that they can see me throw rocks and hoot at me just to let me know they are still here I promise them I would not bring people to go look for them and another person wanted to do just that so I don't poke a hornets nest or Bigfoot because everyone knows that will not end well for me! So far they haven't bothered me ..the rock throwing was in the day time and coming from the old camp area..I don't know how they are able to throw about 1/4 a mile away so accurate and hit trees close to where I was working....but even from that far away I'm sure if they wanted to they could hit me with a rock ! That experience really did frightened me and I don't usually get rattled because grew up hunting and fishing in Alabama,Mississippi and Louisiana ,use to love to go to Gulfport and fish and Pearl River to hunt and in Louisiana Lake Pontchartrain and lake Maw Paw and the spillway and Old man River...so got lots of hunting and fishing stories some pretty cool but not necessarily the bigfoot ... maybe I'll send you a few... Even if you don't read them here I think you'll enjoy some ,I just have to make me some time to send them! P S I have no TV just my phone and enjoy hearing your stories is a little entertainment ! Pat on the back ! I truly enjoyed ...there is nothing more entertaining than a good story!

A violent encounter like that ..hmmm idno ..I don't know if I would be able to let it slide .. if I owned the property I'd probably burn it to the ground . I don't think people should shoot these things but then you hear this an unprovoked attack ... That diserves a couple good Ol boys an a couple 700 nitro express rifles that take elephants down and just try to put it down ..

I know it's hard to believe I on my farm late at night my dog will bug the crap out of me to go out and I'll take them walking I have a large property I remember one night walking on the way back at first it sounded just like an owl but then it started changing up a little bit it start out as an owl and then it would make hollering sound at the end of it and that's when the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I realized this was not an owl this is something else so I do understand that these things mimic other animals just saying

These were really a great set of "stories." I kind of hate to call these "reporting of incidents" that people make here to be mere "stories." . To call them "stories" sort of implies that they are fictional at worst and misidentification of something not a Bigfoot type creature, at best. I think that the vast majority of what is reported here and at several of the other UA-cam Bigfoot channels I follow, people are reporting true incidences that they have experienced having actually seen or at least had these creatures making their presence known to them, with that being scary enough. Cam I love the footage of you riding your motorcycle through the Mississippi countryside.
