Very Valid points and amazing gesture from you Jegan to share this info. My 2 cents that could perhaps give a bit more insights on this - Setting our expectations on savings - this is not the same for expats working temporarily and for guys seeking relocation and permanent migration. Second would be the local language. Based on country being targetted, its best to have the basic level certification already done back in India and never pause learnign the language as majority of us indians take a hit due to language barrier in the country where job might have good amount of dependency/interactions with people not speaking a word of English.

It is just that you need to show some additional proof for pension contribution from home country. (If you are from India, then PF could be one option. But that is just my assumption, haven't had a direct experience yet). That being said, your first step is to get a full time German employment contract, then everything else is easy. (or at least possible).

currently have a student visa for Germany and my_qualifications are 3 years of experience in QA software testing. So I was thinking whether I should choose the path of student visa and try for jobs and convert it into work, since I lost interest in masters. Or should I apply from India itself for jobs that offer visa sponsorship or come there in job seeker visa and try or trying for a job in student visa and converting it. I am totally confused on making a decision, your suggestions will be a huge help to me.
It may not be a direct answer but student & job seeker visa routes are expensive ones. Searching for a job from home country is a slow path. There are positives & negatives in each route. But in general, for QA testing, there are good number of jobs in Germany. I have seen many got jobs from home country itself. If you are getting good number of responses for your applications, then searching for a job from home country makes sense. If not, student or JSV is the way to go.
Hi Jegan sir, u have given a valuable information in all ur videos , which is very useful in finding a better job and career growth.I just want to clarify one doubt that, what is the minimun salary to get the german work permit in order not to reject the application while applying for work permit.
Hi Murali, Thanks. I do not find any minimum level salary for work permit. The lowest salary I saw is 32k euro per annum. That comes as normal work visa. (D Type). Generally work permit visa does not get rejected due to salary limit (at least I have not seen till now). But my suggestion is to aim for a minimum salary that is more than 46k. With this you could apply for blue card. (a special type of visa with more benefits).

Every year the limit is revised. So it is wise to look for the 'Blue Card Visa Checklist for Germany' for the year you are applying for. Here is the official link for 2023. india.diplo.de/blob/2163240/6c5a3edfa01be40fe25d1bcbfb38aa69/eu-bluecard-visaentry-data.pdf
Hi Jegan, your job-finding video is truly outstanding. To be honest, I have rarely seen such insightful tips shared by other expats on similar UA-cam channels. I am wondering if it's possible to connect with you to review my CV? Thank you.
Hi Nabajit, Glad it was helpful! You can reach out to talktojegan@gmail.com with your CV. I will respond usually during weekends or sometime during weekdays whenever I am free.
Hi Jegan, I have completed 2 rounds of interview in 2 companies(cities - Heidelberg and Cologne) but due to some reason they did not offerred me Joining letter, not sure what was the reason. Still I am searching to get a job. Can you please refer me if you come across any opportunities are opened for devops and cloud technologies.
Thanks very much Jegan for this valuable info! You're doing a great service for aspiring candidates. Have a question, what would be the salary of a Business Analyst in Germany with 12 years of work experience ?
For Germany it is difficult to provide a specific salary number. Because here salary is dependent on city, company size, etc. But I can give you an approximate average number 65k to 75k.
Sorry, I do not know about this field. But you can try to follow this approach I discussed in this video and find the demand for your role - ua-cam.com/video/Cf7G9A7KRVo/v-deo.html
Be more specific on your question @abderraouf9286. Generally you need your experience, educational and other certificates for job and some more additional certificates for visa.
German is not mandatory. There are many German companies whose company language is English. But having basics of German before coming here would really help. Visa processing time : For me during COVID time, it took around 4 months. (3 months for appointment itself.) May be now it is improved.
Hey bro, Hope you’re doing great. This is Moazzem Hossain from Bangladesh, I tried to follow your procedure of Job searching on LinkedIn but the problem that I'm facing, while I search a keyword like "application support visa" then location in Germany, it shows No results found, or any others keyword like "electrical engineer visa" then location, it shows the same result (No results found). Just for your information, I have a normal account on LinkedIn, Do I need to go through with premium (paid) version in order to get the result what you're getting while searching the job? Please, guide me. Thank you so much for your beneficial work activities.
Hi bro, Thanks I am doing good. Hope all is well at your side too. Yes, you're right. Now there are no results coming up. It's because LinkedIn has changed its search process. I discussed about it and alternatives in a recent video: ua-cam.com/video/5bfqGowcqhs/v-deo.htmlsi=9CrowakBEzZ2ed4f

Hi Jagdessh, For developers there is definitely good amount of visa sponsoring jobs available in Germany. But nowadays the scrutiny is too much and some companies also reduced the hiring. But nevertheless, I still see people are moving here directly from India.
Hi Sir, If you're mentioning about jobs, then there are opportunities for apprenticeship or internships. In my opinion, possiblity for finding fresher jobs in Germany from outside is very little. But if he is already studying in Germany, then the chances are really high.

Hi Jegan , Iam also in Application support , have 6 years experience , iam not having so much knowledge as i worked for stable applications. Can i still get job in German???
Hi there, In my opinion, If you're strong in what you're doing and have exposure to ITIL, then definitely you could find a job in support. Of course, you will need to examine your current skillset and find the marketable skills like sql, Linux or similar ones and build your CV around that. Then it's a possible thing.
Hi I m your new subscriber. My husband has done CA, CS , BA with English and Economics and currently pursuing CFA third year. He is 39 tears old working in a reputed government company here in India since last 15 years. We are planning to relocate in foreign country. What's the scope of CA and CFA in Germany? Can we relocate at this age? Please reply. It will be a great help. Thank you.
Hi, Thanks for subscribing and commenting. Currently I have very less exposure on the jobs related to CA, so I need some research and local consulting with people who are living here long. But relocating at age 39 should not be an issue.
To be honest i am following so many persons in You Tube, But you are so unique from others. Thank you so much brother. Just one quick Question I do created account in Xing as well LinkedIn in De and Eng both Language. Shall i buy Premium Accounts in both Platform ? for hunting jobs. Let me know your thought as well My plan to buy both Sites Premium bcoz opportunity is so Less if we buy premium at least i am visible to some recruiter's My German in A2 level in Goethe but that too not so good to be honest. I studied 3 yrs back still i remember but somewhat i won't speak that much. Now a days only again i am studying to get at least A2 Level Speaking.
Thanks a lot for your motivating comments brother. Coming to your question, don't rush to buy premium accounts. Maybe, let's evaluate if you really need one. I currently have a premium account in LinkedIn, maybe let's connect over a Google Meet and see the difference between normal and premium accounts. Let's connect over LinkedIn and decide.
My experience shows that minimum of 3 yrs work experience is usually required. But there should be possibilities to find internship and apprenticeship for freshers.
Hi Deepthi, Unfortunately I do not provide any specific assistance as such. Since I doing this only during my free time, I am not able to do such assistance at this moment. But I can try sharing some useful content to support your job search.
Have you already got a job contract? If so, you should be able to apply for normal work permit instead of blue card. That is my assumption. But if you already got job, then your employer can also help.
Here is the info from blue card checklist : The minimum Annual Gross Salary to obtain a Blue Card for the year 2023 is as follows: • 45.552 € for Natural Scientists, Mathematicians, Engineers, Doctors and IT professionals (also known as MINT professions) • 58.400 € for all other professions

Could you please answer my questions? Thanks in advance.....🙂
Hi Sandeep, Thanks. Age is not an issue for you. For the gap, it is not easy to give a direct yes or no. It depends on people but based on my exposure, most of the recruiters do not bother much about it. But it depends based on what you did during the gap/ what you say about it. I suggest you to try.
Bro I'm a a backend developer in a startup company, is it possible for me to get a job because I have startup experience? That too at this time? I heard through instagram that some German employers are laying off their employees, and also that you can only get a job if you study there, is this true? plz reply
Hi @Music Beatzz, It is true that some employers are firing some people. But that's mostly in companies that are finanacially struggling. In Germany, for developers there is very good demand, even now. It is not true that you need to study in Germany to get a job. But its one of the easiest routes. However If you're good at your skills you can find a job from home country itself. But during this difficult financial times, you should be careful in accepting offers from very small companies. Check if the company is doing well in their business then accept the offer. All the best

Sir I am doing masters in computer science and it will complete in aug 2024 Now I want to do job in Germany. but they accept freshers with master degree?? I also have profeciency in German language. So can i get visa sponsored job there???
Hi Jegan, Nice to meet you. Hope you do well well, firstly very very thanks for your video. I have more than 16 years of experience in the Healthcare/Pharma/Clinical domain. I earlier worked with Bayer Pharmaceuticals, which is German based company. I am planning to move to Germany with my spouse and child on a job-seeker visa. Any suggestions for me here.I have send LinkedIn request as well .Thanks
I am having 3.9 years of experience as software Engineer, but I would like to move as devops Engineer to Germany, is there any scope for me ?, Am I eligible to apply and get the devops Engineer job ??
I suppose you could try when you have 3+ yrs of experience. I heard DevOps is a hot skill here. But currently the job market situation seems to be volatile, so carefully decide if you want to move. Please choose a strong company and then move.
Its based on your educational qualification, work experience, a job contract from a German employer, and few more. You could easily find out the latest visa checklist online. Please refer to official German Govt sites.
Hi Jagan I am a front end developer 4+ years of experience what chances do I have to get visa sponsorship from Germany if I apply or what do I need to do to get one?
Hi Mayur, It's only based on my limited visibility, that for front end developers I see less visa sponsoring jobs. But as a whole for developers/full stack developers there is a good amount jobs here. You could definitely give a serious try for it.
I have very less exposure on finance related jobs. But after seeing your comment, I have done quick research and notice that there are many finance jobs available. May be, LinkedIn only shows much of IT jobs. But in Google jobs I could see lot of it. However I could not find if they are sponsoring visa. May be, if feasible, one could try to come here with 'job seeker visa' and find finance jobs then can covert the visa to work visa. (possibly other options available, but currently I am not aware).

Every year the limit is revised. So it is wise to look for the 'Blue Card Visa Checklist for Germany' for the year you are applying for. Here is the official link for 2023.

@@jegankennedy thank you, I will send you an email soon.
Thanks bro
Happy if it's helpful
Hi Jegan, I have completed 2 rounds of interview in 2 companies(cities - Heidelberg and Cologne) but due to some reason they did not offerred me Joining letter, not sure what was the reason. Still I am searching to get a job. Can you please refer me if you come across any opportunities are opened for devops and cloud technologies.
Hi Bala, Sure. Let us connect over LinkedIn and discuss.
@@jegankennedy Many thanks. Approximate number also helps! I've reached out to you on Linkedin, kindly accept my request. Have a great day!
I have a lot of experience in Digital marketing, SEO and Network Engineer field but I can't get in job in Germany, please help to giving the job
Is there any chance for flutter developer in your company?
Sorry, I do not know about this field. But you can try to follow this approach I discussed in this video and find the demand for your role - ua-cam.com/video/Cf7G9A7KRVo/v-deo.html
any certificate needed ?
thanks for answering!
Be more specific on your question @abderraouf9286. Generally you need your experience, educational and other certificates for job and some more additional certificates for visa.

:-)
Is German Language mandotory to get the job ? how much time will take to get complete visa process if you applied from India.
German is not mandatory. There are many German companies whose company language is English. But having basics of German before coming here would really help.
Visa processing time : For me during COVID time, it took around 4 months. (3 months for appointment itself.) May be now it is improved.
Whether accountant jobs can be applied from India without German language certification?
German language certificate is not important. But you should be able to speak and write very fluently for the financial jobs here.
But now, there is a problem. Linked in can just search the title now. So it's hard to find the keyword visa😅
You are right. I discussed about it once I discovered the new change - ua-cam.com/video/5bfqGowcqhs/v-deo.html

I having 9 + experience on java , sprin boot and Aws.
How was job market there? Can I get the job? Pls provide info on this.
Hi Jagdessh, For developers there is definitely good amount of visa sponsoring jobs available in Germany. But nowadays the scrutiny is too much and some companies also reduced the hiring. But nevertheless, I still see people are moving here directly from India.
@@jegankennedy thank you jagan...giving valuable info
Sir, is there any chance for MBA(business analytics). My son is studying last semester MBA. please inform me.
Hi Sir, If you're mentioning about jobs, then there are opportunities for apprenticeship or internships. In my opinion, possiblity for finding fresher jobs in Germany from outside is very little. But if he is already studying in Germany, then the chances are really high.
@@jegankennedy thank you
Hi Jegan, Thanks for detailed information that would really helps, if possible can you share any sample CV as well cover letter, also any idea how is market for scrum master @ QA Manager positions in German or any other european contries bcz i have 13 + years of expereince as QA manager and scrum master, Appreciate your response

For CV, I made a video with a sample CV format: ua-cam.com/video/Yvhy4dX-mr8/v-deo.html
Cover Letter - I found a random sample from internet and modified for my application.
Definitely there are many QA manager positions available. You could message me in LinkedIn/Instagram, we can discuss in detail.
Hello sir., what if our salary not comes in blue card range? Can we able to do change job after moving to germany? If it is not blue card then which visa category it should be?
Hello Nikita, Yes you can still work in Germany. It would be regular work permit visa (Visa D).
Hi Jegan ,
Iam also in Application support , have 6 years experience , iam not having so much knowledge as i worked for stable applications. Can i still get job in German???
Hi there,
In my opinion, If you're strong in what you're doing and have exposure to ITIL, then definitely you could find a job in support. Of course, you will need to examine your current skillset and find the marketable skills like sql, Linux or similar ones and build your CV around that. Then it's a possible thing.
@@jegankennedy Thank you Jegan.....
Sir, my college degree is not H+ can you help please?
Hi
I m your new subscriber.
Just one quick Question
I do created account in Xing as well LinkedIn in De and Eng both Language.
Shall i buy Premium Accounts in both Platform ? for hunting jobs.
Let me know your thought as well
My plan to buy both Sites Premium bcoz opportunity is so Less if we buy premium at least i am visible to some recruiter's
My German in A2 level in Goethe but that too not so good to be honest.
@@jegankennedy Sure Bro,by the way my name Vijayan Bro
Sure bro, yes I am aware. Already messaged you in LinkedIn chat.
Can we come there in IT jobs...as a fresher?
My experience shows that minimum of 3 yrs work experience is usually required. But there should be possibilities to find internship and apprenticeship for freshers.
Hi i am currently in Germany and i applied to many software companies but i got rejections. I was working as a developer in India

Hi jegan, I need some assistance to search job in Germany from india
Hi Deepthi, Unfortunately I do not provide any specific assistance as such. Since I doing this only during my free time, I am not able to do such assistance at this moment. But I can try sharing some useful content to support your job search.
Sir, my college degree is not H+ can you help please? Will it stop my visa process?
Have you already got a job contract? If so, you should be able to apply for normal work permit instead of blue card. That is my assumption. But if you already got job, then your employer can also help.
What's the basis Salary of blue card...as u mentioned in the video?
Here is the info from blue card checklist :
The minimum Annual Gross Salary to obtain a Blue Card for the year 2023 is as follows:
• 45.552 € for Natural Scientists, Mathematicians, Engineers, Doctors and IT professionals (also known as MINT professions)
• 58.400 € for all other professions

Hi Jagan..... Thanks for sharing the valueble information....
I have total 6 years of experience as SAP consultant.....but there is five years gap between completion of my education and starting of the career......and i am 37 years old.....is this gap, and age at 37 years looking for job in Germany is any problem? will my cv be shortlisted? Could you please answer my questions? Thanks in advance.....🙂
Hi Sandeep, Thanks. Age is not an issue for you. For the gap, it is not easy to give a direct yes or no. It depends on people but based on my exposure, most of the recruiters do not bother much about it. But it depends based on what you did during the gap/ what you say about it. I suggest you to try.
Thanks a lot Jegan bro..... your reply has given me so much of confidence......

You can try for internships, but I think German language would be needed.
Is it possible to get a job for data scientist fresher in Germany
I am not very optimistic about fresher jobs from outside Germany. But with a couple of years of experience, it should be doable.
Can someone with 3 years experience get an opportunity who is a Frontend developer.
Yeah, that should be possible.
For the freshers software engineer there is a chance or not
Hi Bro, Frankly I do not know any options for the freshers. I only noticed jobs for people with 3 and above years experience.
Hi Sateesh, Thank you for kind feedback. I accepted your connection in LinkedIn, we could discuss further there.
What is basic requirements to get VISA and home in Berlin?
Its based on your educational qualification, work experience, a job contract from a German employer, and few more. You could easily find out the latest visa checklist online. Please refer to official German Govt sites.
Hi Jagan I am a front end developer 4+ years of experience what chances do I have to get visa sponsorship from Germany if I apply or what do I need to do to get one?
Hi Mayur, It's only based on my limited visibility, that for front end developers I see less visa sponsoring jobs. But as a whole for developers/full stack developers there is a good amount jobs here. You could definitely give a serious try for it.
Hi, is it possible to get work visa for finance professionals? I always see it only for IT somehow !
