Bigger than life is one of the finest films I have ever seen! It cemented James Mason as damm good actor in my consciousness along with Odd Man Out. Nicholas Ray was an absolute master.
Damn... Not many people talk about Color of Money. Seen it countless times, and I could enjoy Paul Newman's character reading a menu. Tom Cruise was excellent, too.
The performers are too pretty but the emotions are real, because they all understand something about being having energy and being on the outside of something they desperate want to be inside of while simultaneously having an intuition that adulthood is pretty awful.
@@organboi Natalie Wood and all the other guys in the gang were also good looking, Dennis Hopper, Corey Allen, Frank Mazolla... they were like the Hollywood version of a 50s greaser gang.

Johnny Guitar is also a masterpiece
I will always will love James Dean. He really speak my language along with my struggles in life.
Still love that the OPENING CREDITS to COLOR OF MONEY are narrated by MARTIN. One of my all time top ten favorite openings.

One of my favorite movies
'The cinema is Nicholas Ray'
That's cool that he watched the film with his daughter at age 13 just like he was when he first saw it.
My dad also first saw it at 13, 14 and when i had this age he rented the movie for us to watch.
Love that movie

take that stupid Youkraine shit off
The only one "too pretty" was Dean. But that didn't matter, because the beast could act.

Just watched this movie. Thought the plot was dumb. Dramatic acting. Feel like footloose copied some scenes.
James Dean looks about thirty-eight but a great vehicle for him, Natalie and Sal Mineo. (all doomed) 😢
Dean was only 24

The whole movie was a blatant rip-off of Grease without the catchy tunes!
😂😂
