This song and video is so good in so many ways. There’s not one bad thing in it anywhere and absolutely nothing negative in it whatsoever. It’s truly a good song in every way possible. I’m old enough to remember this song when it first came out and it has always been one of my favorites!
Great song. I forgot about this band. Great music. Keep up the good work guys. Ur channel makes us old peeps remember our youth and how much better music was back in the day compared to today.
My favorite song from them, along with "If this is It." Both songs have some killer harmonies that will have you humming and trying to sing them all day.
Love Huey Lewis!! Check out their songs "Bad is Bad", "The Heart of Rock and Roll", "Heart and Soul", "Workin' For a Livin' ", "It's Alright", "I Want a New Drug", "Power of Love", "Doin It All For My Baby".
I’m so pleased that someone finally reacted to this song! This is my favourite Huey Lewis song. It’s a bit of a throwback to the 50’s Doo Wop style with Hueys own twist on it. Thanks for the reaction.
I grew up in the 80's, and Huey Lewis and the News were my first live concert. What a great experience. Glad your enjoying thier sound. One of my favorites is "Hip to be Square".
Huey Lewis and The News has one of the "funnest" catalogs out there. As far as their hits go, they're almost always uptempo and catchy, with clever often amusing lyrics. Their videos are fun too. And I always appreciate that they included horns in their band. They have a lot of hits, my favorites being Heart And Soul, and I Want A New Drug.
Huey Lewis Sports Tour 84 was the first concert I ever attended in Odessa,Tx. I was 14 and there's not a bad song on that album. They've always been one of my favorite bands
He bought breakfast right out of the blue for an elderly lady standing next to me at the snack bar at the Salt Lake Int, Airport in April 1992. I was returning home from a Navy tour in Sicily. I just heard his voice and knew who he was. I remembered this video.
Fun fact, Huey plays Reba McEntire's hubby in her video for 'Is there life out there?' which is a great song, by the way. ~ Seems like I say you & your man react to his song "I want a new drug' a while back. ~ Sadly, Huey has some ear disease, issue & is deaf & can no longer perform. He & the boys were awesome. They just stopped performing a couple years ago. Sad. Love your shows.
If you've ever seen "Back to the Future", then you definitely know these guys. :) The most wholesome - and deceptively talented - pop band working within a frankly decadent and overly flashy decade. "Uncool" in the best manner, in the Journey manner (but without the sports-arena baggage).
Try Working For The Weekend, I Wanna New Drug, Bad is Bad, Do You Believe In Love, Heart And Soul, The Heart Of Rock And Roll, Hip To Be Square, If This Is It, and so many more! So many good songs in their catalogue
I went into a bar in Buffalo NY, and ordered a "Huey Lewis"! It was a shot of well whiskey and a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. lol Power of Love is the Bomb!
It is such a great song and I am happy to see it put a smile on your face just as it does mine. I have a suggestion Howard Jones - Everlasting Love. Its a good one as well.
I always thought this was their most catchy and fun song. They have a lot of great hits. Can you check out "If This Is It" and "Hip to Be Square"? I had never seen this video for whatever reason.
Unfortunately Huey suffers from an inner ear disorder & can no longer perform...he can't hear music frequencies & sometimes loses hearing all together. But he gave us some monsters hit to enjoy forever!
I’m a new subscriber! Love you guys already!! Have y’all done a reaction to any of The Cars songs? If not, I suggest “You Might Think”. It has an awesome music video!!!
Did they have any other hits? She's making me feel old with that comment and the "I've never heard of them before". They we're HUGE in the 80's, lots of hits!!!

Great song. I forgot about this band. Great music. Keep up the good work guys. Ur channel makes us old peeps remember our youth and how much better music was back in the day compared to today.
I love Huey, they had alot of good ones. I had a pocket rocker in the 80's with one of they're tapes.
My favorite song from them, along with "If this is It." Both songs have some killer harmonies that will have you humming and trying to sing them all day.

Huey was my first concert.
Huey Lewis and the News could not miss on the 1980’s. They had the right sound at the right time. Fun reaction and video Tasha.

Huey Lewis is a good man
Huey has a great playlist. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
They have a ton of hits
This video was released on MTV, but it became popular when VH1 (Rock for 21+) picked it up. I was 16 and I liked it on both platforms!
The whole 'Sports' album is chock full of great songs! Check out 'I Want a New Drug' from that album. :)

I'm a huge metal head but I love Huey Lewis he's awesome and cool.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️☮️💯 Try power of love, great song
As a 21 yr old, 3 things come to mind when the 80s are mentioned, MacGyver, Mullets, and Huey Lewis and The News.
I can't think of any bad Huey songs. I grew up in the 80s and he was a big part of that. If im not mistaken, hes recently lost his hearing.
It's a shame, hope he overcomes his disability.
When it comes to Huey Lewis, well, I need a new drug.😂🤣
Then weird Al's new duck lolololol 😂🤣😂🤣😂

You’d love “Doing It All For My Baby”. The video is hilarious.
I like this song but my favorite is power of love which is off back to the future soundtrack...God bless
The girl in the video is Pierce Brosnan’s wife! True!
