The sad part about this letter is it pretty much spells out all of the reasons why they SHOULDN'T MOVE. Oakland is their home! Maybe not John Fisher's home but all the more reason to SELL THE TEAM to those who WANT to keep them here in Oakland. And to folks in Sac, we're not upset at you guys. We just hate how this is going down. We watched Oakland lose all of their leverage in negotiations because of waived relocation fees and because they were allowed to play in West Sac for FREE with the help of the Giants. If they were constructing the stadium in Oakland myself and the fan base would be fine with them going to Sac for the time being. If you think this is okay then go find the video of the fireworks/drone show from last Saturday night where they celebrated OUR history. The A's leaving just feels WRONG & I wish MLB would step in and FIX this!

Sac sports fans that supports this A's relocation are a bunch of Benedict Arnold. A's fans will remember this back stabbing betrayal.

Pretty much no kings fans support this because they have been in this situation (although they had a better outcome ). The only people excited about seeing the A's in Sac are normies/non-sports fans
30 years of government failure of its own facilities led to this. Mayor Schaaf never had the money or the City Council support (or the dock Union workers support) to build the infrastructure to make Howard Terminal possible. Oakland refused to put in taxpayer money, MLB said the clock ran out, the City of Oakland gave a ridiculous offer to extend the lease -- and they end up in Sacramento. THAT is the real story.
