For those complaining about the "button issue"... for me the button works flawlessly...though, at first I was seeing the issue... but I have found that even though it isn't a button that moves in and out, you STILL have to apply pressure to the button. Since I figured that out, I haven't had a single issue with the button... give it a light press as if it was an actual moving button. Hope that helps those experiencing that particular issue.
I know you posted your video about a year ago but I just want to say thank you I could not figure out how to use it by going through user manual and your video really help thank you
One of the best Fitbit reviews I’ve seen. Gave a great overview of features I haven’t seen on other videos. The community feature looks really useful for motivation
Just got the versa 3 last week I had the versa 1 previously before swapping to the gear S3, gotta say Fitbit have really upped the game, they're mo longer just fitness trackers with minor smart watch features. The versa 3 is more responsive and faster as a smartwatch then what my S3 was, gorgeous design, voice replies and calls work quickly and well, Google assistant is awesome and responsive oh and amazing fitness tracking
I have no problems with the capacitive button. The trick is to stabilize the watch on the opposite side of the button with your other finger or fingers. It's almost like you're squeezing the watch on both sides.
Welcome back! It'll be a nice little vacation for us this week, so should be relaxing and restful. Looking forward to making more (and improved) videos next year 😁 Stay safe!
@@gearupaaron Because most people's MP3 collections are a hodge podge of legal CD rips and bittorrented illegally stolen mp3s. Maybe it was a better safe that sorry thing at Fitbit Headquarters. Also music streaming services are so inexpensive anymore and offer such a massively large amount of songs, so it's really for the best
@@GoingTheDist It's for the "best"? You are kidding right? If you were able to download offline playlists from spotify or youtube, sure. But it only works with deezer and some other trash app. Why would ANYONE want to spend 10 dollars extra a month to use Deezer?
Usless If you drove alot, counts driving as steps. I'm a lhv driver and I walked to 25000 steps yesterday and 125 flights of stairs. I could eat 5000 calories apparently
I’ve just bought a Versa 3 (coming from Charge 3) after careful consideration as I was tempted to get an Apple Watch SE. I’m really glad I stuck with Fitbit as I’m loving it although it’s only been 1 week. Have Fitbit revised the button ? as I see a lot of complaints about it but I’m having no issues what so ever. I’m loving the battery life, I’ve just put it on charge after 7 days use and was only down to 25%. That is what kept me away from the Apple Watch 🙏
Are you looking at the Music version of the SQ or the regular one? Btw, thanks so much for your support! Please share this channel with your friends and family - that would be super helpful! 🍻😁
Excellent review. I think that pay wall might be what nixes it for me. I really wanted to use the health stuff. How much extra do they make you pay for that? For heart rate, O2 levels etc?
Sorry about the late reply, but good question... The premium plan is $10 a month and opens up HR variability (note that regular HR functions are usable on the watch), O² saturation, and other advanced health metrics. Hope that helps some.
Hi I try to find out if you can use it to navigate home. I'm biking often and it is not allowed to have a phone in your hand with for example Google Maps. Is it possible when connected to your phone to see the directions on your watch?
Hello I'm new to the channel and I didn't know any other way to message you, but will you do a review on the GX smart watch please? Thank you and keep the great vids coming. Take care.
@@gearupaaron always like that. I think its planned. I have a feeling apple does that with their phones. Updates slow it down and wear out the battery to make you upgrade every 2 years.
Hi great review btw . All i am interested in is the health and excercise and swim tracker , the other bits i am not so worried about . Do you have to pay the subscription fot that ?
Thanks for watching - glad you found the video helpful! The fitness tracking bits are all free (thanks goodness), so you're good there. Still, you might want to read more about the subscription here www.fitbit.com/global/us/products/services/premium
Why would you leave your watch on your wrist whilst taking a shower? Then you don't clean your wrist! So just take them off. Then you won't get soap on your watch.
Yup, ideally we'd all remember to rinse the soap off the bands after washing them. I try to bring up possible problem areas in my vids - this is one of them. 😆 Thanks for your comments... Spot on!
What do you mean google 6:55 os going out and google wii change to?? Please explain. Will this be super outdated in a yr?for something much better later?
There isnt any sense to having these watches if it so hard to change the time.Knowing how to change the time when battery fails is more importain than the details
Usually the time is synced with your phone automatically, even when you power off your phone while flying, then turn it back on when you land - it'll sync the watch up with the local time.
@@gearupaaron thank you , that’s a help , the only thing that bothers me slightly the fact you can’t download your Spotify playlist onto it but I usually have my phone with me anyways but it is handy how I can use the Fitbit 3 like a “remote” to change music 😁
I personally think the versa 2 is a bit better for now. The versa 2 has on board music and also the os is pretty smooth. Heart rate is accurate, and u get many features as well for a good price. Versa 3 has on board gps but no on board music. Theres no physical button which is frustrating at times, and also os can be laggy sometimes.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! 🎄🎄 Have the best and safest time guys!
Merry Christmas
You can do voice replies on the fitbit versa 3 if you have an Android

Note: You can't load your own mp3 music to the Versa 3 & Sense. That was a deal breaker for me. I'm keeping my Fitbit Ionic.
Totally. Not sure why Fitbit had to remove that option.

When you use the run mode, are you able to set up a target goal like how man miles you want to run?
I ordered the Jabra 85T from your review. Will be here tomorrow $178. New Years eve. You're breaking me, lol.

Pay walls are terrible. You pay for a device and the data collected from it then falls behind a pay wall? That's unacceptable.

Not for Smartrack - just steps and estimated distance, no route.
The best is "Fitbit sense"
That feature IS pretty solid! 👍
Question what is the best Android Wear OS with great battery life and tracking heart rates?
Hi Alex, usually Wear OS and great battery aren't synonymous, although the closest would probably be Ticwatches with their e-ink screens.
@@gearupaaron so ticwatch 3?
Yessir! Are you on a hunt for one ATM?
@@gearupaaron with Google pay? does it have good sleep tracking as well
Yes and yes. Sleep tracking is done through their Ticsleep app.
Does it track your respiration rate on a daily basis?
IIRC, it does for sleep only.
@@gearupaaron thanks for replying. Sleep only sucks, I'm trying to measure during the day to see how relaxed or tense my breathing is.
I think you can manually measure it throughout the day, though, for what it's worth.
