it might work if your pliers can get a good grip on the keys but I'm not sure if applying some pressure like that on the keycaps would damage the keycaps themselves or maybe even damage the switch when pulling the keycaps out.
@@dramatician5292 since you asked so nicely The string is made by taking a piece of string tying it into a loop then looping it underneath the keycap then pull. The paper one is made by folding a bit of paper a bunch of times until it's a short thin strip, then fold into a U shape, then place the bottom of the U under the keycap then pull.
Time to steel these from my teacher when I go back on Monday
Typical tutorial music
pov: when you have spent ur last dollar and cents for getting a cherry mx keyboard.
Thank you. That's smart and I'm going to do it now.
As for measuring, I would take off one key and put it over the wire and bend the wire around it.
Great, ease to make, easy to use and great tutorial, thanks!
yeah I'll just get one off eBay. lol
The third world

I use my fingers to pull them out straight from the keyboard. Starting from the ESC key to the F keys, then work your way down row by row.
there you go innovative
Yeah but if u wanna take some out individually
Just did this, still works!
Dude I need to take the keycaps out so how am I supposed to get the measurement
Measure the keycaps while they are on the keyboard
take out the esc
would help if we could actually see what you're doing. weird angle...
Thanks for the tips! :D Used it on my SteelSeries Apex, wanted to change the placement of some keys since it's designed for windows and I got a mac :3

Thank you so much saved 15bucks!❤
I came here to learn, not for a IMAX 3D dirty fingernail experience
Can pliers work too? Or is it to risky?

I use my fingers
This would be a lot better if your fingers weren't constantly covering the camera
5 minutes of fingers far to close to my eyes
