GT4 means a lot to me. I always loved all things motorsports and discovering this game when I was a kid just made my days so much brighter. When I first heard this song in the game I immediately loved it but didn't pay that much mind to the lyrics. The years went by and I met my girlfriend. After that, I sort of re-recovered this song and suddenly the the lyrics resonated even more within me. Well, now this girlfriend is my wife (who also used to play GT4 in her childhood) so this song bears much more significance to me now. Whoever wrote this song and whoever posted it here; thank you.

I always will associate this track with the end of summer this year, when I had to say 'goodbye" to my friends for a really long time and move to a city being absolutely all alone. GT4 pra mim foi o melhor jogo da franquia. Ele era mais do que completo, era extraordinário. A quantidade de pistas, carros e eventos no World Tour eram incríveis. Sem contar os pequenos detalhes que já existiam no jogo, como desgaste de pneus, tróca de óleo, algumas adaptações mo aerofólio, pneus, rodas, lava rápido. Cada detalhe era muito legal. E a trilha sonora era perfeita. Foi a melhor época que tive jogando esse verdadeiro masterpiece do PlayStation 2.
This song is very nostalgic for me. It has always sounded great and I loved hearing it while racing in GT4. Gran Turismo 4 was my first real deep dive into motorsports gaming. Since then, I've loved not only motorsports gaming but motorsports in general. This song in particular brings back the glorious memories of discovering my love of all things motorsports at a young age.

Em termos de simulação GT até hoje é o melhor no mercado, só pra ter uma ideia, forza nem se compara quando o assunto é simulador. Forza se destacou nos últimos tempos porque a demanda de versatilidade aumentou bastante. Tipo, o jogo dá muito mais liberdade ao critério do jogador, além de inúmeras opções de enfeites no carro e a gente sabe que a maioria é um público mais novo, que gosta mais disso. E Gran Turismo vem sendo aquele jogo mais "pro", que exige mais da habilidade do jogador, por ser da época que dava pra diferenciar jogo arcade de simulador (hoje, tem o nfs shift que é uma merda em simulação, mas dizem q é simulador vai entender) Pelo menos o realismo foi tão grande no auge do Gran Turismo (na minha opnião o 4) que a pessoa que joga acaba aprendendo a dirigir e a gostar de dirigir. Tanto Forza quanto GT, eu jogo e curto pra caramba, mas GT em 1º lugar hehe.

The fact that Polyphony Digital left in the JP Soundtrack in the NTSC (North America) release of the game AND was able to hide cheat codes into the game without them being found for nearly 20 years is proof positive that developers back then actually understood how quality and quantity can co-exist and without excuses.
