Chakrata is a picturesque cantonment town and sub-district (tehsil) located in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, India. Nestled at an altitude of 2,118 meters, it sits between the scenic Tons and Yamuna rivers, approximately 98 km from Dehradun, the state capital. Once a British Indian Army cantonment, Chakrata is now a serene getaway known for its natural beauty and historical charm.
In this video I travelled to #chakrata ,Uttrakhand and I explored the India's largest straight Waterfall (#tigerwaterfall) the beautiful landscapes making Chakrata different from other Hill Stations in Uttrakhand.

Places to see in Chakrata
Can you suggest whether to visit Chakrata or nainital

I visited last week so the weather was very good. It was hovering between 15-30 Degrees.
The Main attractions in Chakrata are Tiger Fall, Chirmiri Top, Budher Caves and Lakha Mandal. You can also drive to Moila Top which is around 1.45 hrs from Chakrata.
Both the places have their own charm. If you want to get away from the overcrowded places and enjoy the nature than you should plan for Chakrata and if you want to stroll on the mall road, boating etc then go for Nanital.
