Megh is a sanskrit word meaning 'cloud' hence this raga is mostly sung or played in the Monsoon season. This raag was also one of the favorite raags of NFAK. He sang many songs in raag megh. The feeling of monsoon with the melodic composition is clearly visible in these songs of his.

Ye rasta zara naya sa hai, zara dekh lena ki rukna kahan hai aur chalna kahan hai, kahan ladhkhadana, sambhalna kaha hai.. this video made me write this and for NFAK, I have nothing to say at all. His music is enough to make me feel every square inch of my skin, feeling that very essence of the spirituality his music carries. Ali sethi on the other hand is a breath of fresh air with a swirl of the past. He acts as an anchor between the past and the present. Hope you keep on bringing us these gems every now and then🌸

I won't deny the influence of these apparently arbitrary footages of 80's and 90's on me. It's fascinating to see an ordinary, usual passage of time that seems equally as lifelike as it gets because sometimes we are so overcome by the set of events we experience in our age span that imagining the exactness of events way before our existence on this planet somehow reminds one of ages one never lived.
