I am back with another solo helldiver tutorial. This time the mission is Launch ICBM. Following the AMR buff, I wanted to see what I could do to the automatons.

about the berserkers, they're annoying because they hav no armor but one of the highest health pools in the game. That and they always spawn in packs so the only real efficcient way to kill them that I,ve found is stunlocking them with a punisher which honestly takes way too long and way too much ammo, or using an airstrike/orbital. A pack of berzerkers warrants an airstrike or a cluster bomb or sSomething along those lines just so you dont havr to dump 4 clips clearing them out
Yeah. Feel like just hitting with a strike is the best method or just keep running and hitting them grenades.
Incendiary grenade helps a lot against them
@@Jumbuck1151 currently there is a bug with fire damage where fire doesn’t do anything if you’re not the host. Once they fix that then yes, that’s a great solution
Dominator shotty 3 shots them to the red centre mass weak spot now and is a solid way to deal with them 👍.

@@Joozies its viable. You just gotta run and gun. I even have killed a titan by shooting into his belly. I mostly use Big pun and it's variants

Aim for the berserkers waist. Takes less shots to break them in half.

The AMR was already one of the strongest weapons against bots, now it's just ridiculous.
At 15:00 the gun ship coming after you comes from that building in the background. Its an actual factory that spawns them.
That's some incredible shooting and gameplay.
I must assume however that you did not survive the extraction. :P
Nice video man, I use stun grenades to make killing hulks easier, since my aim is trash lol

@@Joozies you have better aim than me, so you probably don't need them lol. I generally like impacts better, because they kill groups of devastators and berserkers easily, but since going up to difficulty 8-9, I found myself getting killed by hulks more than any other enemy, and switched to stuns just for them
@@nolimbsjohnny I struggle sometimes when the hulks are wobbling towards me. The eye hit box is fairly small and the AMR scope is actually a little off. I think the stun would help a lot
Also agreed I take stuns 9 times out of 10 on bots these days. Makes hulks easy to snipe in the face and if you're getting swarmed by berserkers or devastators it can be a good way to make some breathing room. I use stuns sometimes to make sure my 500kg or airstrikes land on enemy groups especially with the longer call in time modifier

I pretty much take the same loadout except replace orbital rail cannon with a EMS Sentry instead. Also the way I deal with beserkers who get a little too close is the machine pistol 2ndary, and it has a quick reload if there is more then 1.
I just joined the liberation recently and I really thought the AMR was op and wondered why no one used it, little did I know it just got buffed(started like a week ago)
It’s really under looked. 1 shots every mid tier bug. 1-2 shots devastators and hulks. 🤓 I’ve seen a lot more players run it now.
You can one shot atriders if you shoot their crotch with the amr, unless its patched but i doubt it, also if youre not focusing on leveling up,like me, im level 66, you dont necessarily need any outposts, side objectives or anything, other than the actual mission, also doing that is very good for liberating planets, saves time for more democracy spreading
Also the gunships you just need to take out one engine, 4 shots should do it with the amr
Berserkers are weak in the nuts. Or remove both arms then the torso if you have a shotgun, 3 shots isn't much if you have a fast shooter like a breaker. If you have a slower weapon aim for the nuts, if you have a larger area attack like the break and spray aim at the head, eventually it will burn. Honestly though, I too hate berserkers. If you have a point gun like the assault rifles or the sniper rifles, aim for the nuts
Berserkers fall faster if you blast the in the Nads (hip Area) lol..

How are you aiming/ “scoping in” without actually ads-ing?
Just hold right mouse button if you're on pc, idk about console though
autocanon has third person ads and god damn AMR has none wtf

blows up bot factories, impact just does not go inside the vents a lot of the time
is AMR scope fixed?
No, you can shoot 3rd person, you can scope and you can change the zoom, press and hold your reload button to see the options (work on other weapons too, like fire mode and other options that varies)
@@PerfectBlueX I mean the scope was off center. If you want to hit target you need to aim at upper left corner of scope centerpoint.
It's still off. But the Devs are aware of it. Maybe it'll be fixed when democratic demolition is released
Its impressive until you realize hes on pc then the impressiveness dies fast because most pc players on helldive already play like this

AMR has become my obsession recently. Good at range for obvious reasons but i also love the way it feels to 'hipfire' in close range.
It also breaks up the monotony of playing Quasar or Recoilless because you can use it so differently.
LOL I seem to miss like crazy using the scope and you're here no scoping all kinds of stuff!
Holy shit I need to start using the AMR, been carrying that Quasar cannon to deal with the hulks and tanks which leaves me with a slow charging weapon that is mostly useless against foot soldiers. Also, for the berserkers I think it's important to shoot them in the middle abdomen that glows orange. That's what I always do and they go down quick.
I use the redeemer side arm exclusively for the berserker up close, quickly dumping the clip into one, and next one, etc.

I do feel that patrols will move towards you if your on/near an objective as every time I've done a solo run of the ICBM mission, I end up having a patrol go right through it or just stay there, and I've cleared the whole map before too and I still get a patrol coming people who say "patrols won't target objectives I've done the research" yall are full of shit as it does yall just don't realise it 😂
There has been many times where the main objective is over run for me by a patrol and then them calling a breach or drop 😂
I too, want to know how to deal with Berserkers effectively because they even tank massive amounts of Jar-5 shots. Nothing seems good against them.
I am also an amr enjoyer to the point I now run double snipe stealth or eruptor/spear with turrets I am not good at no scoping like you however dive to the right an the gun goes vertical and that is your vertical line on reticle for easy no scopes in a pinch and most annoying bots I just take the legs out
Hit the berserker in the midriff.
13:01 I heard they fixed the rockets, they weren't supposed to be hitting as hard as they were and can confirm surviving 2 direct hits while in medium armor
Good job! Most people know that you can add a temporary mark to your monitor to help you “no scope” some monitors have a crosshair you can add in the settings
I’ve been pretty consistently 1-hitting the Striders with the AMR by shooting them in the legs.
