Treating Data like Metadata - Incorporating Configuration Data Into Your DevOps Process

Complex custom solutions, Salesforce CPQ, Field Service Lightning and other data driven solutions - they all rely on configuration data to drive system behaviour.
But as developers, how can we build, manage & release this data? Manual data loads during deployments waste time. Refreshing sandboxes can become a painful process. Trust and confidence is reduced as environments fall out of sync. Changes can't easily be tracked and reviewed. Developers & testers struggle with high quality data to build against.
In this talk, Matt Grimwade explore's how we can follow a source-driven approach and start treating this data like we treat our metadata. Using SFDX, along with one or two helpful plugins, we'll see how we can improve our devops processes to help us manage & deploy complex datasets for data driven systems.
