Congratulations to Buddy on reaching 1000 goals. I think it would be safe to say that everyone in the stadium, around Australia and those who support the AFL around the world, all were fan's of Buddy at least for about 20 minutes.

As a person at the game that didn't go on the pitch, this was probably one of the best things I've ever seen, every single goal was so load and hyped and even more when buddy was involved.

The best part is, no one got hurt and all people wanted was to be on the ground when this historic event happened and to touch Buddy if they could. Eventually the crowd dispersed and the game managed to finish an hour after normal schedule. I wonder what would of happened if this was a football match somewhere else. Riots anyone?

It reflects the balance of play but rewards accuracy by 6 to 1. If a team has 30 shots on goal and scores 15.15.105 and another team has 15 shots on goal and scores 10.5.65, team A doesn't win by double the score but the overall balance of play reflects the worthy winner.
