I love how Weiss became a crazy fun meme girl/a logical thinking one/a thirsty girl with a crush/and a clumsy queen in one volume. But she still wanted to be there for Ruby. Hopefully they get those moments in Volume 10.
It's quite fascinating when at the start Weiss was by far was the prickliest and least approachable member of Team RWBY. And now she is in my opinion the most emotionally mature of them seeing as she was not only able to recognize how her own good intentions along with Blake and Yang's unwittingly placed a terrible burden on Ruby contributing to her mental anguish, but she was able to reach out to Jaune to help ease his guilt and his emotions in way nobody has since Pyrrha has been able to do. There is no denying she has come a long way.
Weiss is an entire different person from who she was in the beginning of the series. She went from being a spoiled brat, to Team RWBY’s voice of reason.

Weiss really spoke rarely in this volume but whenever she did it was of the utmost importance and the answers to her questions have huge implications for the entire narrative.
Weiss really upped her main character game this season and I loved every second. But it's also thanks to the animation team and their insane talent with this new engine Edit: Also having a smaller cast of characters to focus on definitely helped
Oh I forgot about the low on dust excuse. Because seriously without that Weiss could just out several of the problems they encounter instead of it being difficult.

Also it seems to lack much benefit to doing so. It would be like trying to use gunpowder as a drug. It doesn’t make sense. Although the fact that in Remnant you can go down to your local convenience store and buy a canister of basically gunpowder is kinda weird.
You know it's wild, this volume had 4 less episodes than 8 and yet Weiss alone has more speech time than Ruby (who had the most dialogue last volume) in Volume 8 Yes I know it's because this volume wasn't split over multiple groups, I'm not saying it's bad, just commenting
It's funny it's the shortest volume in a long time but Im gonna bet in the end ALL of the main characters got more dialogue time than they did in recent volumes.. simply because they didn't have to share it with like 20 supporting characters this time. That is something that worries me for V10 cause like literally EVERRYYONE from every volume is seemingly in Vacuo and I enjoyed getting time with just team RWBY (and Jaune) again.

Weiss talks about being flung back in time like it’s a bad thing and not a get out of jail free card to all their problems. Sure maybe it has negative side effects. We haven’t really seen any yet though. Except for the obvious still being mortal thing.
Most people are right handed, so it's an easy thing for the right handed to forget that not everyone is like them. How you shift your weight & move your arms is going to be different, which is a little easier to remember in fight scenes since fighting is *entirely* about movement, not so much with dialogue/walking scenes.

I never expected to see the day when Weiss would become the comic relief character of the Team.
