- In this friday khutbah Sh Moutaem al Hameedy reminding us to spend in the way of Allah before death comes to every single one of us. Death is a reminder for all of us to stay on the right path and do more good deeds because this world we live in is just a temporary place.

I always try and remember what this sheikh said in the beginning of tafseer lessons...
" Your life is not about you. Your life is about الله ". These words have had a profound effect on my heart الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاه والسلام على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
If we can live knowing that we will find true peace. الله FIRST. But we humans want to be first... That's the way to misery. Look in the Quran when الله said to Ibrahim submit he did immediately and fully because he knew Who he belonged to.
