This vlog is about Ladakh road trip. When you go from Delhi to Leh, first you have to cross Jammu and Srinagar……
There are basically three ways to reach Ladakh from Delhi:-
By air
By public transport (State bus services)
By your own vehicle or rented vehicle
Kashmir does not have a railway station. The nearest railway station to Srinagar is the Jammu Tawi railway station, which is located 300kms away. However, the frequency of trains to Jammu is terrific and almost all major cities have trains running to Jammu.
Fastest and easy way is obviously to catch a flight. But every mode of transportation has it’s own flavour. If you have time at your disposal you split your journey from Delhi to Jammu and From Jammu to Srinagar. You can take a train from Delhi to Jammu and then a cab from Jammu to Srinagar. You can witness majestic mountains, mesmerising valleys along with number of engineering marvels in the form of tunnels. You can taste sweets of Khud/Nashri and Dal Makhni of Peedha on way.
