Alright, since you references Pelicans it reminded me of a poem. A wonderful bird is the Pelican Its beak can hold more than its bellycan He can hold in its beak Enough for a week And, I don't see how the hellhecan.
I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying video. Breath of fresh air seeing you guys soaking it all in. Not sure if it luck or what but my memory we had a lot more sketchy days and weather and mechanical breakdowns. I’m loving this laid back easy trip. You’re making me want to do this again. Thank you! I’m binge watching!
I cruise at around 1100-1300 which gets me 6-8kts with occasional busts of 2-2400 to blow the crud out of the turbo and rings..... once you're out there you've kinda reached your destination. Theoretical hull speed is all good
You guys are doing a great job. Loved the trip south. Learned a lot. Hope to make the trip myself someday. Hold the camera steady. You keep filming...I'll keep watching. Love your work.
This section made my day. Grew up in Glousterpoint Va on the York River. Summers were great swimming, fishing, crabbing, and calming. Loved being on the water. No live outside of Cincinnati Ohio. Need to move closer?
Hi Guys, what a beautiful boat and how good are those Cummins diesel engines, when u get them tuned right like u have they will just hum a sweet tune, well done, how about a few fishing sessions that'd be great. Keep cruising loving all ur vlogs. 🇦🇺Aussie Girl 💙💜⚓
Love following your trip! Ya, Wow the water's like glass. It must be so awesome to see every sunrise and sunset. I bet you've been pinching yourselves! Keep on keeping on!
"Pirate ship", huh? No, it wasn't. You had the great fortune of encountering the "Statsraad Lehmkuhl" of Bergen, Norway. One of the fastest-sailing tall ships in the world, with too many race victories to even count.
@@InTooDeepBro great to hear. I’ll be making that trip sometime this year all the way to Cape Coral Florida. I’ll likely stop at many of the places and especially like the free stops. Gas is going to be a doozy this year. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for the vids and especially the summary of where you went from / to that day at the end of the video. Making notes for where we can stop on the way south ourselves. Stay safe out there! Nice buzzcut!
How come you didn't leave Atlantic City & ride the ocean down past Delaware? It seemed out of the way to go into that river which looked like it takes you back north for a while. Just from looking at a map - it seemed like staying in the ocean would have been faster. But I'm sure there is a reason why you went that way.
@@InTooDeepBro Right on & thanks. I live right on the Manasquan River in NJ. I know that part of the ICW starts at the Point Pleasant canal. You come in from the Manasquan Inlet from the ocean, go under a bridge/train bridge then hook a left into the canal. It's fascinating that there is a system to get you all the way down to FL with avoiding the ocean for the most part. Keep up the great videos!
Hey Gus, I’m originally from New Hampshire. I’m a hull diver, I now live on the Florida Gulf Coast, Tampa bay. I have a ton of resources guys feel free to hit me up
That is most I have heard Adam say. What do you draft ? around 3 feet I guess or so. We draft 3.5 feet. Nothing like a good Barba shop and getting sheared when you need it. Are you planning on making the return trip in the spring? Your videos are just the right length and very informative in a easy way to follow, you touch on all the highlights and always show your progress on goggle earth a very nice addition. thanks for doing this as i know it takes time to edit and post them

That big 3-masted sailing ship looked like the Coast Guard Cutter Eagle.

Awesome video- greetings from Hampton Virginia
you need more fenders at dock. Great video and cruise!
What a great day for sailing. Dropping the speed should really increase the range.
Next time you are in Portsmouth, go to the Bier Garden. Great German foods and many different beers.
Love the videos, looking forward to the rest of the trip.
Put some fome around the mic it will cut down on the wind noise, great video.

Hey Gus! Love the series man. What kind of drone are you using?

It was for sure more mileage, but there was a storm coming in and that is a long offshore haul. So we opted for the scenic route!
