Good info. Installed new delivery unit this happened after a few months. It appeared it was defective tubing though as it was still in good condition. Was the nice smooth soft comfort tubing. I opened up tubing and could see one of the lines in tubing the seam was not smooth where it separated. Appeared to be defective. Partswarehouse/dentalparts sent new replacement but this being in a cabinet it is difficult fix. I have had this happen a couple places, hope it is not ongoing.
For troubleshooting I use 4 way pressure gauge with DRIVE and EXHAUST air gauge most important. Rule of thumb, if you have on exhaust 0.5 bar (sorry, I'm from Europe) then you're good. If its much smaller or much bigger, well you know what to do.
I just got one of these gauges last month. It seems pretty bulky to carry around. Are there instructions somewhere how to use it? Can you make a video demonstrating it? 😊
@@DentalEquipmentRepairChannel Using it seems pretty straightforward, but I will try to record a quick video preferable in some doctor's office when I won't be in rush (looks difficult) :) :) :)

That's true. I like that there are many ways to do our job. 💯 When troubleshooting handpiece torque issues I usually have a gauge on there anyways. It's also nice to have an objective reading.
I have been told not to pinch tubing as it can blow out tubes, gaskets, etc.... And that only works (giving great psi info) if you have a gauge on the delivery unit to see pressure, but this device is much safer from blowouts.
@@DentalEquipmentRepairChannel do you know the going rate for calling in a service tech? I currently work in a very small dental office. I would love to try troubleshooting something’s by myself lol however if we need to call a service tech we will. Everything works, just the pressure of the hand pieces and suctions are weak. The dental system unit is pretty old.
