I really enjoyed the anchor ⚓️ video. My whole life I thought Danforth anchors were the best. Thank you for explaining to me how Danforth fail and CQR are a better quality anchor!
Wonderful video, especially liked the two anchor versus one large anchor reference. Great stuff. Would also love some of the Jules wisdom on the weather conditions that warrant deploying the storm anchor (35+ knts)?

My 22 Danforth managed to hook one of its flukes on an opened beer can and refused to dig in. Also my 25 Herroshoff was only effective anchor in very soft mud if given time and gentle pull to allow to sink in.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Could you confirm the sizes of your CQR anchors, am I right that your working anchor is a 45 pound and the storm one is 35kg (not #). 77# sounds more appropriate for your storm anchor. Thanks

Do you set additional snub lines for the second anchor? So all told, you would have four snub lines. Thanks for the details.

What do you use for snubber attachment. I started using a magnus hitch that has worked well.
