Thanks for the video. I thought about using one of these for a garage and was wondering about the water level in the bowl. I've read somewhere they had a low water level and would get dirty very fast because of it. Sorry, I know there are professional terms for what I'm talking about but I don't know them. Do you have this problem with yours?
Another question, does the macerator actually pump the discharge out the waste line? Do they need vented like a gravity flush toilet or can they use a smaller vent? I've looked for this information but can't find it.

@@TonyCampCamppartyof4Hey Tony....I would like to know is it overly loud when flushed? I did hear it flush in the video but there could be different in person...I've read some reviews saying it sounds like a jet engine when flushed.
@darkellthepiercer it's a little quieter than my cordless vacuum, sounds as loud as when the dishwasher is emptying the water or maybe a quiet blender. Hope this helps

Generally, a macerating toilet can flush big turds and a lot of toilet paper, but it is not recommended to do so frequently or excessively. This is because it can cause clogging, jamming, or damage to the macerator unit or the pipes. It can also increase the water and electricity consumption of the toilet. Therefore, it is advisable to use less toilet paper and avoid flushing any other items such as sanitary pads, diapers, wipes, or cotton balls.
According to one source1, a standard macerating toilet has a range of 100 to 150 feet of horizontal pumping power and 10 to 15 feet of vertical pumping power. I have this in my basement. Its a new install. The toilet flushes twice every time. Why?
Typically on something like that the microswitch may be faulty causing it to flush twice or the inlet valve may be clogged with debris or faulty causing too much water to be introduced to the system. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
@@TonyCampCamppartyof4 Well it's a brand new toilet in a new bathroom install. So it shouldn't be clogged. Only thing that makes sense is that the switch is faulty from the manufacturer.
@troycarls4839 you are correct it shouldn't be clogged, did you do the install or someone else? I've seen it all, I just finished rebuilding a pressure washer pump that was brand new and had a piece of metal shaving in the valve not letting it close all the way. the company sent me a new pump and I rebuilt the original one and now have a backup . But the most likely culprit is a faulty microswitch or something. Good luck and if it's all new it is under warranty ,
