Well this is actually LiSa from Japan not Lisa from Korea, but its totally understandable since their is an insanely popular Lisa from Blackpink and also and insanely popular Jpop Lisa in Japan. LiSa paved the way for the modern Jpop we know today and she is a true icon of Jpop. Thanks for the reaction!
Oh my thanks for correcting me😅 I need to study up on my eastern knowledge. Luckily for us we have a well versed friend that can help me and guide me🙏🏼
What a beautiful song, I love The First Take as it's introduced me to so many great artists. You should check out BabyMetal's Monochrome on the first take as well if you get a chance.
Huh, I have heard this version a couple of times, but it's the first time I heard the autotune in it (3:52, 2:25 orig video). I had heard a couple of times before that the more recent First Take performances were post-produced slightly, but I always thought the older videos were more raw. I guess not. To be fair, this was nothing crazy and it doesn't take away from her amazing performance (Pop might not be for me, but I can obviously hear how talented she is). I was just surprised that I heard anything like that in this one since I have listened to it plenty of times before, but now I can not unhear it, I hate my ears sometimes. It is obviously still very enjoyable to watch her perform, I actually really like this video, it's just a shame that Japanese producers can not help themselves and even touch up S-tier vocalists like her.
THIS IS THE FIRST TAKE, NOT THE RAW TAKE no one said this is a raw production, even the channel itself they didn't said the video is RAW i donno why people always focus on the autotune thing and always complain about “ah! I heard autotune, it's a shame or something blablablablabla...
@@whitewhite5742 I just didn't expect it with how talented of a vocalist she is, that's all. I personally hate the sound of that effect, it tends to kill the soul of a voice for me depending on how much it is used (not with the tiny amount it was used here). Does that make it a less impressive take? Nah, not with the tiny amount I heard, but that doesn't mean I can't mention it. I didn't know people said anything about it either, this is the first time I heard it and I typically don't watch LiSa videos because I don't tend to listen to a lot of pop, it's just not for me with a couple of exceptions (Zutomayo, Yorushika and some more poppy J-Rock). I stopped listening to mainstream music in the late '90's because of the amount of effects that got put on vocals after Cher's horrible "Believe" track (obviously my opinion, not a "fact") and mainly transitioned into listening to metal as far as guitar based music for over 20 years before getting into Japanese rock/metal. I am honestly surprised other people have mentioned it though because most people apparently don't tend to hear that stuff from my experience and it was pretty subtle since I have heard this track plenty of times and I never heard it before. I personally think a large amount of post-production somewhat kills the intention of the channel, especially with vocalists like LiSa who don't need the help, but that's obviously very subjective. You clearly think differently, which is great, that means their core audience (which I am not) is onboard with it. Also let me make it clear again that I love that performance and that I think she is an amazing vocalist regardless. The only reason I posted it was because it genuinely surprised me and I tend to write what comes into my head. Also relax. No need to defend her, she is a grown woman and I am sure she has dealt with way worse things than some guy talking about autotune on the internet (like the stuff with her husband).
LiSA is absolutely AMAZING, I'm going to my first ever concert this month, and I'm so happy it's her ❤❤

I love The First Take myself. Love this song and her voice is beautiful. This touch's my soul.
