I love what they did with the docks and how it has all types of ganados now instead of just soldiers and a mix of almost every miniboss, speaking of them, what do you think of this version of super salvador? I know it's technically not super sal it's the mad chainsaw fello from the demo, but what do you think of him though?
understandable, as intimidating as the mad chainsaw might seem, when you have mayhem mode, he's a pushover, but the orginal I definitely agree I like his original design too, bigger maybe faster and his AI is terrifyingly smart. Excellent performance as always too, I'll look forward to your Luis video, cause I'm a bit spooked to attempt docks with him, cause of how slow he is.

Many times I get beaten to death by them, not to mention the healing items are so few...

@@Sarcosuchas you will be aware of the complexity of the cheating leaderboards of The Mercenaries, but have you seen the channel SereneEvil's channel? It's PS5 only, no bs cheating or pc mods just straight up proper scoring Mercs runs. I really enjoy the videos.
It's not as simple as the kills in the combo, as you get points from your Mayhem mode. Leon gets 8k per rifle headshot, making each enemy 8,500 each if you play that way, so coupling that with boss kills and general kills while building meter, a 50 combo or so would probably be enough. But ideally you want to aim for the highest combos possible as a 150 combo is 453,000.

Castle one is annoying as hell, the blind enemy with armour and blades is nearly impossible to kill during combat as leon. Only way I've seen to be working is ti throw a hard grenade at him with the mayhem mode.
@@vergissmich5327 Yeah, I managed to complete it today. I had to save the cannon for those blind enemies with blades and armour. What sucks is when they corner you you in a room with only one exit like the one under the cannon. It's absolute hell. Only a flashbang could save you there.

Not bad on gameplay. But I just have to say something. Leon is not a bad character by default. He is alot harder to master in mercenaries. Reason being is his handgun, shotgun, and rifle being weak. Worst of all his ability. It takes forever for enemies to die and the super ability is nothing special compared to the other characters. When enemies spawn in weird directions it gets soooooo annnnooyinng. Then you run out of shotgun ammo and use a ton of grenades. I'm a bit disappointed because in the original his real ability would be ultra instant dodging, kicks and his knife. Imagine they brought that back instead of gun ability he dodged and countered back? Reminds me when he jumped Krauser in the quick time events.
Truly the King of Mercenaries, from the original RE4 to the remake!

It was nice to see the Mad Chainsaw from the demo getting used again, but I prefer the original Super Salvador design

Cannon is an insta-kill, perfect parries also turn him around leaving him exposed to attacks, and yeah Heavy Grenades do work wonders

This is why I recommend camping next to the cannon, or making your way there before the Garradores spawn.

Hard disagree. Leon is one of the top characters in RE4R Mercenaries because of his Mayhem Mode points when getting headshots with the sniper rifle.
