Nameless a lot of story time animators only use like slideshow techniques, like just one frame quickly switching to another with maybe a slight jump. “Animation” are a bunch of pictures or drawings put together and played to make the illusion of life and movement, these story time videos are just lazy slideshows of a character taking up a quarter of the screen, with little to no movement.
Nameless animation would mean that the video would be fucking ANIMATED. but storytime animators do not make things animate, they simply draw a single frame, and then another frame at the beginning to create the illusion of movement. their fucking frames almost never move, how the hell can you call them animations? especially when compared to 95% of what any of these animators at this panel did. they all look like garbage when compared to actual animation, only because it isnt animation
Zach doesn't talk a lot in this panel because the air pump and the series of tubes, hoses, and straws that he uses to fill his lungs in his office weren't yet portable in 2014.
I really wish Zack spoke more when he had a chance. He seemed very awkward and nervous, maybe because it was the first time he shows his face to the public. He also seemed to talk a lot off the mic, to the people around him. This panel would've been 20 times better if Zack were to put his ideas out there and really answered the questions. It also would've been better if people directed questions towards him instead of everyone else. While watching, I was really looking forward to how Zack would answer questions, but was disappointed when he really didn't speak at all. I love Zack and all he does, but I wish he was more outspoken with this. Hopefully, during the next appearances he makes at panels, he will speak more and show his opinion towards other people's questions.
You couldn't put two bigger polar opposites beside each other. Zach, who is one of the funniest, down to earth, quick witted and hilarious internet personalities ever next to Arin who is one the most boring, egotistical, self indulgent ass hats I've ever had to listen to for more than a minute.
