"the myth of mental illness and the manufacture of madness" damn Emerson that is deep. I respect your pretentious art student aura (for lack of better term)

Thomas Szasz wrote books called that (one was called "the myth of mental illness," and another was called "the manufacture of madness." They were written in 60s-70s. not sure if that means anything to you, just found it funny

This is the most beautiful thing I've seen. Emerson has such an amazing mind. It amazes me how he creates all of this out of nothingness. By far my favorite thing I've seen

Honestly, at first I was like 'aw, look at Emerson's cute doodles' but then the longer I looked at it, the more beautiful it got. I got so lost in the world Emerson has created, his work is just stunning

my favorite quote was "In Death we trust: Love the Void" it creates a sense of abandonment for me. From the problems of life. Life and Death have the most beautiful relationship where Life gives Death hundreds of treasures and in the end Death keeps them all, giving Life a reason and ability to create more. I wish the people around me could open their eyes to such beauty and stop fearing death and stop prolonging everything because in the end, when things die, they give way for new life

Amaya Rose Pauling Its so odd you say that because that was the one thing out of it all that I was drawn to so much that I had to pause the video to contemplate a meaning to that and I found a bit of my own reason, it's so odd we noticed the same thing out of all of that, I guess great minds do think alike.

Seems a lot of people were drawn to the Love the Void part, so they released that song on Boom Boom Room Side B :)

The way this art was made out of nothingness, and the way of the style, completely changed my perception on not only art, but the way life really is. Great job, Emerson. I really enjoyed this. :D

A creative person's mind is a beautiful thing to see, and to be able to view something so beautiful as well as powerful is an honor. Thank you, Emerson, for allowing us to see true art and re-think things; while also allowing us to see positivity when it seems like we are in a world of darkness and hate.

At first, I didn’t understand it; the art, the mans words, the serene yet unsettling nature- it just didn’t click for me. The second time listening, I put my phone screen towards my bed, my room now void. I stared up at it, listening to every word. I wanted to cry, truthfully. The idea just settles with me just the right way.
I’ve been on the verge of nothing. I never thought that someone could explain this philosophy I’d been l toying with in my head so beautifully, a way I couldn’t understand at first. Thank you, Emerson. I know I’m very late but I’m glad you’ve let us into this extremely amazing and beautiful world.

I think art, in any way, shape or form, is the key to a person's soul, and how their mind works. If the artist has put a piece of their soul into their work, you can tell - like Emerson did here. If you went in there and read everything, then you would know a part of him that he may not have expressed at any other time, and that's what makes every artist unique.
