Glad not many have complained about the quality of this, which I believe is the actual air signal, not the video. This is how we watched TV when it was over the air and free. It is not hi-def, but it is not that bad, is it? You can see everything, right? So why can't we have the option to have this instead of paying for cable -- with advertising?
This was recorded by someone in NYC off a UHF station on Long Island where the reception was snowy. We should be grateful he recorded these 1985 reruns of the show that the station was doing or otherwise we wouldn't have them today because the word is they can't find the master tapes of the Cullen Pyramid.
It doesn't matter if I was the celebrity or the contestant giving the clues. If a big win occurred, I would crying like a baby. A big win would be just so overwhelming. I do, however, prefer the original theme to the Pyramid. It sounded more exciting than the Bob Cobert remake.
How cool is it when two emcees are on the same stage playing and hosting the same show? Too bad Jim Perry and Bob Eubanks didn't do the same on Card Sharks in the 80s on CBS, although they were on Family Feud in 1983(Magnificent M.C.s vs.Heavenly Hosts).
@@samturner64 Hi,Sam! Is there a possibility that I could have copies of your copies? If we should have another pandemic lockdown, which I hope doesn't happen, these shows will keep me company.

This is the reason why when CBS brought the show back, they had to had New to the title, since some stations still reran this version.
Dick Clark later guest starred on Donny Osmond’s version on Pyramid circa either 2002 or 2003
The editing at the end with the jump cuts and more was excellent. It added to the excitement of the win. You really don’t see that today
Now, that's unusual to me, seeing Bill Cullen walk in, even if it's a couple of steps. Usually, he's already seated when he's introduced.
He did that for Blockbusters as well.
And I thought that it was a April Fools day Edition
Great seeing Dick Clark playing and Bill Cullen hosting.
Dream team for sure!
Yes, Dick Clark played on the syndicated nighttime version often and Bill Cullen played on the network daytime version.
First Winner Circle... Dick's imitation of Archie Bunker was on-point.
Was it me, or did a light bulb explode over Dick’s head just before he said “a doughnut?”
Nice job, Bill Cullen! He's one of my favorite hosts and game player.

You can!!! I get my TV with an antenna just like I always have.

I'm just glad it exists and not erased
Michele Lee was getting exasperated. "The middle is the...CENTER"
WOW, INCREDIBLE clues by Dick Clark. He is AMAZINGLY good at his own game. I guess he should be........
Why dont they switch celebrities after game 1
10:15 the original Dish Hopper
Sandy already was walking toward the winner’s circle when Dick said ... wait ... watch and see.
March 4, 1976
In some markets, sure.
so now go buy your self a Donughttttt
sorry i just had to be comical about it
With that much loot, one could buy a *TRUCKLOAD* of 'em!
Good thing Mr. Clark normally hosted, or the show would've gone bankrupt- fantastic clues!
Notice the audience getting louder when Dick Clark’s name was called. This was his show.
Look at Michele Lee 25:28! She *KNEW* they had it!!

Anybody know whatever happened to the other episode with Dick Clark as a guest with Anita Gillette that used to circulate?
It's still out there. I'll add it to my channel once I get the chance.
The $10,000 Pyramid
So weird to see Dick as a celebrity contestant.
Clark is funnier as a contestant than as the host.
Do you have #44
Yes

If I were on the $25,000 Pyramid at night I'd be giving Dick Clark the clues in the winner's circle.
Quality is bad
Well yeah, the older 1984 reruns were in far worse quality than the later ones.
@@samturner64 I appreciate you posting it. Keep posting any $100,000 pyramid episodes that you have I loved Dick Clark he was a great host
Then you'll love next week's episode!
@@samturner64 I loved the three and a half hour pyramid show
It's from a 40 year old video tape. It's awesome that we can still watch it!
