Please let me know what you discover. I am considering this for use on LoRa in the US. 1 full watt of clean output to the antenna is what I am looking for, I am curious if this amplifier is acceptable. I would really appreciate it, Thank you.
@@technologymasterkam Thank you very much for your reply. I wish to use one with a Meshtastic starter kit to bring my repeater system to it's full legal and technical potential. I would be a great blessing if one of these works well in my system to increase it's range. I regret that I do not have a wattmeter or dummy load for this frequency, which makes it a challenge when adjustments need to be made.
@@kenneth6731 You can measure current going into amplifier. Place another node away but in range of Bluetooth. Now make adjustments. An increase in current should also coinside with increased signal strength.
Nice review. Would be great to see a real world test, taking in to account of RX amplification. Read a review of a $400, 4W LORA bi direction amplifier and the average range went up 10 fold. I'm guessing a much cheaper 1W amp would get about 2.5 times extra range.
Where can I purchase one of these to test with?
Here is the aliexpress. I am not an affiliate with any seller. www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005445930926.html
