I just stuck to metal poles in my pole holders and screwed a 2x4 to that and the poles went in the pole holders so tight with a hammer they wont fall out its cool
Be careful with the stadium seat!! It punctured my Eagle talon. Suggestion, put thick padding on each corner of the seat. I fixed the puncture by melting plastic to mold to the puncture and covered it with flex tape FYI. Great Video 👍👌
Hey golfboy one tip I can give you is that you don't have to drop the trolling motor all the way down just drop it a couple inches from the water top ; ) right lines
Hey man, that's a nice set up. I love the idea for the transom but because of the extra weight, I would cap the bottom. Really nice though & I might just use that idea. Great video!
I tried the same set-up, while the kayak was just in the water it was ok, but when i put it on #3 speed water started cumming in through the scupper holes, pvc pipe moves the more speed you give on trolling motor, not good...
gino wazza I was thinking the same thing. As I was watching I thought, I would probably cap that pvc so that iy acts as a scupper plug because of the extra weight of the battery.
ahuertas69 if you cap the pvc pipe let me know if it work's, on my talon 12' i got me 4-L brackets from home depot and put rivets and mounted it and it works great, but planning on getting a 13 or 14' kayak, so let me know how it works when you cap scupper hole area... Thanks
Nice job
how long does the battery last on the water
Wow you and me did the same thing nice bro! I'll show you mine
Well it wont let me ad a picture

Dude I’m thinking of doing the trolling motor. But how’s the weight affecting you

+Giovanni Acosta agreed, putting it all the way down creates wayy too much drag especially with a 30lb thrust motor.
Perhaps it just makes the control for the motor for accessible to cut down on the reaching upward and back?.
I have the same
Kayak and installing a trolling motor this weekend. After using it for a while is everything still working fine?
Thanks. Just built one following your plan. Ill let you know how it works

Awesome dude
Nice work. Great ideas!
I tried doing that setup and water still came in, it doesn't work the thrusting of the motor moves the pvc pipe and let's water in...
