The first film was such a good mystery thriller, it's a shame the sequels didn't carry this theme as well, feeling more like escape rooms, but I'm still glad they at least got a satisfying ending, unlike the divergent franchise, which was really disappointing to see it cut short.

Agreed I really enjoyed the first one barely watched the 2nd and don't recall ever watching the 3rd it lost what made it special as is the most case with most shows, sequels ect
they were a fun time, they still hold up well honestly I think we’ve just grown out of this phase or whatever; tho hunger games seems to hold up even better
These recaps are far better as story telling than the endless plot points of the creators. Thank you for doing it so I didn't have to endure the movies.

Even though people love the books more, I loved the realism approach they had in this trilogy and enjoyed it as a series of its own
In the books there was a teleporting machine along with Thomas and Teresa having mind powers and I just couldn’t imagine that in a movie series like this

This is a first occasion for me, when the movie was better than the book
I've read the books and the watched the movies, the movies are far more memorable. They're easily the best of the YA movies IMO.

It’s so silly that they couldn’t tell Theresa was untrustworthy from the INSTANT she arrived. So much saved if they just assumed she was a jerk
In the movie, it was obvious. But you need to realize from the book POV. They could have made it a bit subtle of how she feels.

So many new recap channels produce recaps that are gibberish. The narration comes off like a mediocre ai wrote the narration. They're confusing and off putting. This was right on. No errors, no confusing points. We all knew who was who and could follow it easily
