The lyrics hit me harder than it should. `When we were young
, was this the dream we had? We are celebrating nothing, we need to find our way back`. I'm 34 and In Flames defined my best and worst years since high school. I didn't know I'd become more and more retrospective in 30s. I keep going back to my highs and lows and keep making comparisons between past and now. Anders writes great lyrics and I got Trigger lyrics `Collect Some Stars to Shine For You` tattooed on my chest but this song's lyrics hit me the hardest.
Every time In Flames releases an album I go through difficult times in life :|
I think In Flames are lamenting how bad their lyrics have become, so it's a bit of meta-art haha
Forget the video, cherish the sound. It might not be old Flames, but definitely a good song.

What i expected from this third era IF. Good rhythm, amazing melodies and goosebumps. Thanks and more then ever, welcomed this sound, they found themselves as musicians as we know them today! This is a mature and grown band. As one of the lucky that know them very early, i feel kind of gladness for them keeping it real, as they are. IF, i salute you.
Exactly I grew up with inflames, I'm 30 and my best friend who was alot older showed me them in 6th grade. Jester race was the first cd I bought with money I saved up. They are who got me into metal music. I still love them to this day
30FPS must be console footage... and that GPU is overheating, way too many artifacts and it keeps restarting for no apparent reason. would request refund on Steam... looks like a totally borked early access title.

this album will be like their last, at first i was not digging it. after 5 or so listens it really grew on me. have the same feels for this one.
I don't know why but i always think about the Holidays when I listen to In Flames.
Reroute to Remain will always be my Christmas time album.
if your a true In Flames fan, you shouldn't have to leave a comment hating on their changes to their music, a fan should be able to be ok with whatever they put out. They put time and effort into it for you guys, the fans.
So many people are upset that In Flames still isn't returning to their melodic death metal days but I honestly love all their albums. (Albeit some more than others) I have a feeling this album is going to turn out great.

This is like the biggest coincidence of my life! I JUST came home yesterday from a post-apocalypse themed LARP which took place at the location of this video. It's an abandoned Sintermine and plant in the middle of Sweden and used for paintball/airsoft and also that LARP once a year.
Someone's seen Hardcore Henry and liked it ;) well done In Flames!
Seems to be a lot of poeple who don't like the video very much, but I gotta say I love it. Probably because I just spent five days at the location where it was filmed and recognized everything, but still...

I listened to a soundtrack from a movie. Freddy vs. Jason, and Trigger was there. The instrumentals, the voices. It had me. Two decades late, In Flames We Trust! I say this! Don't hate but appreciate.
Again, really great song, as and Old School fan here, I really like the song, The Truth is like Coldplay, but this song is great, but man...This video don't fit with the song.I mean it's a cool video, and It must have been a lot of fun,but for this song it's a little weird. Hope more songs like this on the new album. In Flames WE TRUST
It kinda fits. As I understood the video he's watched and forced to do this stuff and at the end or the truth part if you want to call it that way... it feels like he went rogue or something. We'll probably see in other video.

they changed...they made themselfes a new own style that you might not approve of, but as you may be aware of if you have an open mind you'd see that other people like it and the songs are very well written...it's just not your style anymore. I could understand the band if they'd just be annoyed of their old fans for not approving their change of style and constantly pouring poison over their new work, but they still support their old fans. They write music for themselfes and not for any audience, that's what a songwriter does...it's time to get over it. You already gave them up many years ago and listen to Soilwork, Dark tranquility or anything you want and it's okay to check if their newest songs may tingle your taste a little again. But if not, is it really that important to tell them "they're dead since Jesper left"? (Who has written songs up to A Sense of Purpose btw)

I have to say that I am a big fan of old school In Flames, but I actually really like this new stuff on this album too. its way different than the stuff I am used to by them, but still has an awesome sound.

It's the End of a band that was really great to listen to...
this actually breaks my heart... this is really the end... guess everything good in this world has to end sometimes, IF are no more...
why now?? this sound quite the same as stuff from 2008...
After clayman they just started to change their sound and I didn't like it as much. Fast forward 7 years later come clarity came out and that was pretty good, but everything after and before has been pretty mediocre for me. They just don't have the same punch they used to have in the 90s. I'm glad people are still enjoying them, but they're defenitily not the same band they used to be.
Good riddance. Those of us who are real fans don't want you here.

I absolutely love In Flames....especially the the old stuff...some of the best music I have ever heard...can't listen to Siren Charms though....but The Truth and The End are both pretty god songs,I liked them both pretty much from the first time I heard them...not old In Flames,but surely a couple very enjoyable tunes...

For me, as a fan of In flames since Reroute to Remain, when I first heard them, I like this a lot, I do not like the truth though. I wasn't the biggest fan of SC but I am liking this direction, and it is as simple as this folks, all bands, musicians etc.... HAVE to change it up, no matter how you put it, they have to. Yes we want them to have the same signature sounds, whatever that may be, for me, I miss the guttural vocals, perhaps some of the older riffs and solos, but I am loving this direction and I am sure they still have their bag of tricks! I am a Jester head and will continue to be. This band has so many amazing songs and I have faith this album will be banging heads.
Lets hope the rest of the album sounds like this song. Also the video is awesome!

Absolutely horrible. Really disappointing to see this from Patric Ullaeus, since I usually enjoy his work. Kind of turned my stomach - from motion sickness and the random violence with no context.
Are my boys back? Siren charms turned me off so much. This is much closer to what I had hoped that album would become.
