@chancelewis1846 That negative mindset was brainwashed into them by the adults around them, which is very harmful for kids. It Happens all the time in the real world. :(
Julie says that Paul Bunyan cried for days and days but in the featured story Babe's illness only lasts for one and therefore Paul only cries for one day.

I looked it up...apparently the story they might be referring to here has been changed quite a bit. This is the one episode I remember
it's not nice to call leon a crybaby
Ben never should have called Leon a crybaby. And the fact that both him and Skye said that boys and men don't cry is just beyond me. If they want to cry to express their feelings, they can. They have the right to. It's called showing emotions.
I guess Ben and Skye are cyborgs
@chancelewis1846
That negative mindset was brainwashed into them by the adults around them, which is very harmful for kids. It Happens all the time in the real world. :(
Never mind. The song was "Let Them Show" by Porter Carroll, Jr.
Ricky M I TRIED LOOKING HIM UP AND HIS SONGS, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY
No, but I looked in the credits of this video.
Ricky M OH
I think in the original story, Babe died. That's even more sad.
Nuzzle Sizzle you are in a major trouble!!!
Awww. Poor Leon.
I know. He shouldn't be ashamed of himself for wanting to cry.
How could anyone cry if they're mad?
Julie says that Paul Bunyan cried for days and days but in the featured story Babe's illness only lasts for one and therefore Paul only cries for one day.
Do you know what hyperbole means? Plus it was to drive the point home that he was a very emotional man, rugged looks and all
RIP Alyssa E Mertsch 1990 - 2018
Who’s that?
I have the same problem as Ben because I had a cousin who died on February 11th 2018
To say that the kids were insensitive pricks to Leon is an understatement. Leon brings in an idea and the big bad bully Ben takes over for no good reason!
Jake Kellogg I totally agree with you, Bro.
Leon's right.
At least Julie understood the problem! She’s one of the best four characters!
@@prowolf633 I think Leon is the most realistic. He can be sarcastic but also sincere.
I agree, Ben is at his worst in this episode
Typical of him thinking masculinity powers over
I prefer the book, Don't Cry, Leon.
This episode reminds me that something’s wrong with me! I don’t cry when I want to or should and cry when nothing is happening to me! What’s wrong with me?! 😭
Perhaps you are afraid of being vulnerable?
Yea ppl do cry not just girls women and babies. Everybody
It made no sense to criticize Lean when Ben himself admitted that he cried too, when his dad died. Losing a parent is something no kid should have to go though. Him if all people should understand and be sensitive to peoples feelings.
seeing a special needs student treated like a baby makes me want to cry.
daniel ferstendig Same.
As a blind woman, I feel the same way!
I'm trying to ignore about Leon was crying because he got angry at Ben, Julie and Skye to showed them how to make pancakes in the kitchen.
SIZZLE! NUZZLE! STOPPIT!
also, i cry when i feel helpless, when i know there's nothing i can do to help my friends when they're in trouble.
Goggles Tigerkhan Same here, bro.
I'm equally mad at Sizzle and Nuzzle as I am with Ben in this episode.
Somone probably forgot to feed them and they were hungry lol
P
I think I had this episode on one of my parents' home movies before! (and yet the episode was partial!)
YOU HURT LEON'S FEELINGS PEOPLE CRY SOMETIMES BOYS DO'NT CRY THEY WEEP
“Men and Boys don’t cry” BAA! This why males need to learn to show emotions
Nuzzle and Sizzle eating the pancakes was Karma lol
Do any of you subscribers out there enjoyed the fact that this episode had a running gag where nuzzle and sizzle are sneaking pancakes?
That’s Karma for the kids for making Leon cry for leaving him out then calling him a “crybaby”. Lol
No pancakes 😂😂😂😂
I've never wanted to punch Ben before. Toxic masculinity at its finest. Glad he learned his lesson.
pyrotheevilplatypus thanks for the nice comments, (From Bruce Not Cindy)
Based Ben???
The same people who tell you not to cry are the same ones who will throw hissy fits and become dramatic over the stupidest things.
Leon started to cry because Ben and Sky damaged the his grandma's recipe.
And was angry (rightfully) after Ben and Skye criticized him for crying.
9:58 poor Leon.
In the words from videos created by Dhar Mann:
23:22
Well, you see...
What exactly was that particular pancake recipe? What style is it in real life, if there is a real-life counterpart of that style?
9:54 gets very upsetting for me 😢
Leon sounds like bear in the big blue house
D Hasling It is the same voice By Puppeteer Noel MacNeal
Jose Fernandez who knew
Jose Fernandez yes ilove the puzzle place in 2 0 year
I knew it was him along
Also He Voiced Kako from Oobi!
loved Skye and Julie
I love them a lot
Ben sure was mean in this episode calling Leon a cry baby.
@seanadams3551
Yeah, especially he himself knows how it feels to go through emotional pain…..like his dad’s passing. You’d expect those people most of all to not be judgmental.
But as an adult rewatching this, I don’t completely blame Ben. He’s just a naive kid. It’s the adults in his life and society as a whole who brainwashed that negative mindset into him.
I'm Dexter, boy genius and sometimes I cry when one of my inventions malfunction 😢
I also cried because my show cancelled 😢
Doge Bizzket WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE SHOW CALLED?
Justin Gandara Dexter's Laboratory
Yummyyummyland501 OMFG -_-
I SEARCHED UP "LET THEM SHOW" BY PORTER CARROLL JR. BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY ON UA-cam
His tears did not become the Great Salt Lake as that is in Utah and Paul Bunyan lived in Minnesota. Although it does make more sense because the Minnesota lakes are all fresh water
And besides, how can his tears become the Great Salt Lake if it's in Utah and he lived in Minnesota?
That's what i said.
I looked it up...apparently the story they might be referring to here has been changed quite a bit. The only one I found like this was one where Babe dies and Paul cries so much his tears form the Missouri River.
So, yup. He cried a river.
I'm guessing they changed it because death+ kids' show= not good idea.
TwistedTangelo I don't think this show would've shied away from talking about death. I mean, Ballad of Davy Cricket is all about dealing with death. The ENTIRE episode is all about dealing with death. Considering that this was before a time of comprehensive Internet databases, I can only assume that one of the writers might've gotten this version of the story from one of their parents and thought it was appropriate, even though it was slightly anachronistic.
Don't remember many episodes besides this one...but yeah, I see your point.
6:27 LOL!!! But.......... But........... But...........
My 6 buddies Nick Pennachini Charles Iseman Scott Masters Cody Howard
Tyler Cleaver and Chris Amaral
Love the puzzle place
10:35 Ben added insult to the injury.
The fun starts at 10:12!
Not True Crying is Ok. Even 4 Boys.
Leon was my man when I was a little kid
And his voice is the same as the Bear in the Big Blue House's voice.
Andrew Wilson ALSO HE PLAYED A HAND PUPPET NAMED KAKO ON NOGGIN'S OOBI
Also the same as "Magellan the Dragon" from Eureeka's Castle.
If there was a vet or specialized Animal Doctor for Paul Bunyan's bull Babe Paul would take him instead of sitting there and crying!
